Lego Advent Star Wars Calendar – My kids’ Lego friends’ carnival sets were in my first day bag and cabin, along with the extras they got for their birthdays and the 2 sets I got. Come back for another wonderful December with your beautiful daily writing.
Since 2015 I think – 7 years! It always feels right to open the blog on December 1st to signal that Christmas has arrived. ? Thanks as always J for doing this. Loving the blog and finding it, and Harry Potter, very helpful.

Interesting aside – the small hole in the side of the Clone Troop Commander’s helmet is just the right size for Lego Friends ‘bows’ etc. Day 15 has been great so far, I’d love to see a LEGO TIE Interceptor set return, as would the B-Wing.
If I had a wish, it would be a remake of the UCS TIE Interceptor that came out 20 years ago! With 2023 being the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, I think now is the perfect time to bring back the UCS TIE Interceptor.

Another great run by J. Opening the doors and checking out your blog at the same time goes hand in hand for us, the experience isn’t half done without you. If you’re new here, I’ll be posting daily updates on each window of the 2022 Star Wars Advent Calendar.
I usually post updates in the morning, but sometimes when things get really busy, updates are posted in the evening. I will update this post every day because it keeps it very clean and I don’t really like the habit of making new posts every day, so bookmark this post to come back every day!
We’ve had several iterations of Moisture Vaporators throughout the Advent Calendar, with a micro version in 2020 and a festive Christmas tree version in 2018, but this one is the most classic and, if I’m honest, a bit boring.
Construction. Spolier: The 16th is the return of an old “favorite,” but I think it’s pretty good – almost as good as “Evil Rudolph” a few years ago! Nice touch with the mouse droid too ? 2022 LEGO Star Wars is one of the best Advent Calendars out there, and it’s safe to say it’s a huge improvement over last year’s parody with its three weapon racks (bad ).
Still hurt from that horrible show. I’m starting to hope against hope that the designers’ willingness to provide such obscure forms (well-designed and awesome) will lessen their willingness to give us creepy space-filling stuff. I know what I know.

Talk!) Wouldn’t it be great to have a year where every build is a recognizable Star Wars item?! Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope I don’t talk too soon! Keep in mind that this is a rare thing that happens, but reading everyone’s comments about Advent Calendar content being in the wrong windows or discs being misaligned, it definitely makes this year’s Advent Calendar “error” feel unusually long.
. Focus like a Jedi to create a brick-built photo of the epic Star Wars: A New Hope trench run. Take Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced fighter and 2 TIE fighters to chase Luke Skywalker’s X-wing across the detailed surface of the Death Star.
Add a plaque with Darth Vader’s words (“Strong be the Force with it”) to complete a centerpiece that’s sure to bring back memories. He was a bit disappointed that santa gonk was the 23rd and not the 24th.
From the 9th Xmas jersey R2D2 we were waiting for the corresponding C3PO (without taking it down with C3P0 behind the door, so expect R2 on its 17th leg. Logic). I think Santa would make a better final toy than the other half of a set you started 2 weeks ago.
This minifigure is exclusive to the 2022 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar and features Darth Vader on summer vacation, wearing a summer tank top with the Death Star, and TIE Fighters across a tropical beach. Oh, and it also comes with volleyball.
Thanks for your wonderful details. I am a Star Wars fan but my son needs more explanation to help him figure out exactly what each mini build is. Came across your blog and it’s amazing! Thanks for all your work and Merry Christmas.
Cheers, Elizabeth Lamba Place aka Grand Blanc in Michigan Thanks for this. Another good read from you and your knowledge of more obscure things is always solid and helpful. First comment from me in the following 4 years.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year. Build Boba Fett’s iconic starship and team up with the legendary hunter! Jump into the cockpit and embark on an epic adventure. Adjust the wings for flight mode and shoot to shoot down enemy starfighters.
Return to Tatooine and explore the planet with the jetpack. Keep Boba’s blaster with you, but remember: it’s better to rule by earning respect than fear! Any advent calendar experts notice that the 2016 calendar is 90% identical to the resistor?

The only difference is that one has a 1×3 wing, and one has a printed window piece without a 1×1 round tile. LEGO System A/S, DK-7190 Billund, Denmark. Must be 18 years or older to purchase online.

This is actually the only piece of legs in the compact diorama of the trash can. For those of you who don’t know, the set has a more detailed C-3PO minifigure (with hand print!) The model itself is quite chunky, with the fins being unusually thick compared to the wings, but the gray color scheme, and red stripes, as well as the striking aerodynamics.
Cannon (made from minifigure ski poles). The B-Wing is probably my favorite too. Something about the rotating cockpit and how it flattens out. I also played LucasArts X-Wing and Tie Fighter. I have a Lego set from 2014, but would be tempted by a UCS version if it gets rebuilt.
Day 3 of the 2022 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar is a Droid Tri-Fighter, a relatively obscure droid starfighter that first appeared on screen in Revenge of the Sith, but also appeared in the Clone Wars animated series.

(Note: it can get messy so get permission first and clean up later ?) The design is effective, and the heavily armed starfighter makes a long overdue debut in a LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar. It’s been years since we’ve had a LEGO B-Wing playset, and I hope this is a teaser for what’s to come.
We didn’t get many battle droids, we got zero, and we got an undetectable bag. On picking up the tray we realized that there was a duplicate bag for day 13 in the 5 day section.
At least we have more battle droids now. Looking forward to the 13th to see what the duo has in store! Like the other vehicles and ships, this is a unique capture of the AT-ST, and I particularly like the inclusion of a snowy white base, which allows you to pose the AT-ST in walking motion.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and I hope the boxes are rolling under your Christmas tree! If you’re new to the blog, I’d love for you to stick around, so feel free to subscribe or follow my social channels below to get your fix of LEGO news, reviews and more!
Festive R2-D2 is now standing next to my festive C-3PO, I’m glad today that I’m actually avoiding looking too hard at the box (I’ll keep my eyes peeled to find that figure) and it’s the perfect companion for C-3PO.
, I remember looking forward to returning on the 9th. The minifigure lineup in this year’s advent calendar is very strong, and I really like that we’re getting three exclusive variants, Vacation Darth Vader, and C-3PO and C-3PO.
R2-D2 in an ugly Christmas jumper that feels generous. Plus, when you add the Santa Gonk Droid! My kids want you to know that based on the markings on the ball and the description in the advent calendar window, Darth Vader obviously has a football (soccer to you).
Soccer balls have hexagonal markings while volleyballs have linear stripes. I really like the design of the micro V35, the first appearance in the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar. The curves and lines are beautiful even on such a small scale, and the vibrant white and orange color scheme helps it stand out from the usual gray palette that dominates Star Wars vehicles.
Recreate the helmet Princess Leia borrowed to infiltrate Jabba the Hutt’s palace in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Use the power of your creative force to capture the intricate details of bounty hunter Boushh’s helmet.
Display your creation on a buildable stand with nameplate and celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with this amazing centerpiece. We’ve never had an Acclamator-class battleship in a LEGO set before, so this is a breakthrough.
Design wise, it gets the job done with a flat profile, a bridge and subtle slopes and rear engines.
