Legion Timewalking Calendar – Our friends at Wowhead have spotted some early signs that Legion may be getting a new exclusive add-on for Lightwalking Keystone – Purgatory. We don’t have a full description yet, but it looks like the run will be sprinkled with three different styles of demonic mini-bosses that will summon additional demons for you to fight.

Is there a reward for killing them? Can you skip them to make your final boss harder? This keeps the pattern of previous attachments, so there will be more lieutenants in the fight. We’ll know more as the PTR updates to newer versions.

Old Keystone’s dungeon scales to your level, and crates at the end of the run drop gear from that dungeon at item levels corresponding to Old Keystone’s difficulty. This gear can be upgraded using Valor Points and works like any other max you can get from the Mythic Keystone dungeon.

Timeworn Keystones

Completing the dungeon in this way will help advance the Great Vault, but the Legion Timeworn Keystone will not appear as a loot option when claiming the weekly Great Vault rewards. Here is the full list of 2023 WoW Timewalking Weekly Bonus Events and Dragonflight Dungeon Events.

The event starts at 8:00 am in real time on the specified day and ends at 7:00 am in real time. Timewalking events rotate every 3 weeks across different WoW expansions, with 18 events per year – see the calendar list for more information on Weather.

Six Legion Timewalking dungeons are included in the event rotation: Black Rook Hold, Blackheart Grove, Vault of the Wardens, Neltharion’s Lair, Eye of Azshara, and Court of Stars. Upon completion, each dungeon will receive 10 Timewarp badges, while each dungeon boss will drop 5 badges (10 from the final boss).

We still don’t know the exact effect of these additions on those old dungeons. Mythic+ of Legion and Mythic+ of Shadowlands are two very different beasts. Attachment order has changed, Ferocity and Empowerment now appear in all dungeons, not just level 10+.

Timewalking Rewards

We’ve seen plugins like Skittish and Teeming removed completely, while plugins like Bursting just don’t work the way they used to. Even the design decisions around dungeons are different, with the limit on the number of targets each class can hit and the AOE being the biggest differences – although this was changed in patch 9.1.5.

If you want a more challenging experience, you can talk to Ta’hsup in Oribos and get the Timeworn Keystone. The Ancient Keystone can be used in one of the six Legion dungeons during the event, just like any Mythic Keystone.

Ancient Keystones level 10 and above have a unique attachment related to Legion: Purgatory. While this addon is active, Infernal Beacons can be found near certain bosses. Activating a beacon or engaging a nearby boss will trigger a legion invasion.

Eye of Azshara In the distant shallows off the coast of Azsuna, beneath the waves lies an ancient source of energy. Long ago, Queen Azshara’s power spread throughout the land, and the naga who sought the Gorgonneth Tide Stone still obeyed her.

What Will The Future Hold If Timewalking Keystones Are A Success?

As the clouds rolled and the air crackled with the energy of the approaching storm, Azshara’s followers prepared to summon an avatar of her wrath to destroy the land. Completing the weekly Timewalking bonus event missions and defeating the boss during the encounter will reward players with Timewarp Badge currency, which can be spent at unique vendors (these vendors are located above) during each expansion.

Timewarp badges are stored on the character’s currency tab in the character panel. This means we’re seeing the first Legion Timewalking event a bit late. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait long, information on the PTR has confirmed that it will launch on December 7th and the first session will last for two weeks, giving players plenty of opportunity to challenge Mage Tower.

Even deterministic tweaks like Arms with Xylem suck, P1 is easy but P2 doesn’t have enough dps, drums are a must, trigger well on crits/executions. Or just install old content for user retention metrics like Bobby likes.

Vault of the Wardens The Wardens’ secret facility is dug deep into the mountainside of Azuna and is sealed off with a magical barrier to keep out intruders and ensure that the trapped terrorists can never escape.

Many of the most dangerous enemies the Wardens have encountered are locked away in the Vault, but following Cordana’s betrayal and the Burning Legion’s attack, the creatures are free to roam the halls. The 9.1.5 release date has been confirmed for November 3rd, and many may have assumed that the Legion Lightwalk event would also be released, but in reality, it won’t be released until early December.

With the Legion Event being the base issue for 9.1.5, this may change some people’s minds due to the current drought, especially with the unique werewolf druid bear, level recoloring, and the Soaring Spelltome mount as a reward for completing all seven challenges.

About Bonus Events

If Legion Mythic+ returns, does that mean the challenge mode dungeons of Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor could return? I know I’ll be spending a few hours that week having my characters run through the Mist Dungeon again to get their challenge mode armor sets.

It’s been a long time since these rewards were available and I know there are many players who would love to get them. This week’s bonus event allows players to venture into six Leg
ion dungeons to earn new rewards throughout the week.

Your characters and items will be limited to the skill level of the given challenge, but the bosses will give you loot according to your normal level. Time-traveling dungeons also have the ability to drop items that would normally drop when running on Heroic difficulty, and you can gain notoriety among factions interested in the dungeon.

With the arrival of Legion Timewalking, all timewalking events will be strictly on a three-week schedule (previously it was every three to four weeks).

As such, the Burning Crusade timewalk begins on December 28th (three weeks after Legion begins; the fact that the Legion timewalk first took place in two weeks does not affect this), and the Wrath timewalk begins on January 18th.

Days later, wait. This means there is an 18 week gap between events, so if you miss out on December’s legion weather or don’t complete all the objectives in the first two weeks, you only have until April 12, 2022 to try.

this is the week of august 16th. Last but not least, by talking to Ta’hsup in Oribos, you can get the Timeworn Keystone, which gives you the chance to experience Legion Mythic+. It works the same way as Shadowlands Mythic+, you just go into the dungeon associated with its capstone and start the dungeon.

Mage Tower

However, Keystone level 10 and higher dungeons will have the Inferno modifier instead of the Tormented seasonal modifier. Completing the dungeon will give you loot, which you can then augment with valor points, which will help with the Mythic+ Great Vault, although the Legion gear won’t appear in the Great Vault reward.

Neltharion’s lair, the earth warden Neltharion, later known as Deathwing, once called this cave his home. Since its fall, drug lords who once worshiped dragons have made their capital in this ancient lair. Currently, in these depths, the leader of the drug bar Dargul has gathered a huge army.

Backed by the Hammer of Khaz’goroth, if left unchecked, this army will burst from the mountainside, destroying Highmountain and threatening the safety of all of Azeroth. Note that the Legion Timewalking calendar on the PTR is incorrect after the December event – it appears to be directly adjacent to Pandaria Timewalking and has a gap in the expected time.

It’s unclear if this “bug” will appear in patch 9.1.5, but until Blizzard says otherwise, it’s best to assume it follows the timeline above. Black Rook Hold Black Rook Hold was carved from Val’sharah’s largest mountain by ancient elven stonemasons and stood as a bulwark against the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients.

However, Legion Timewalking also reintroduces the Mage Tower, and players will be able to face different challenges according to their specialty. Players who complete the challenges will receive a Legion-themed transmog set, while those who complete all seven challenges will unlock the Soaring Spelltome holder.

Guardian Druids who complete the Mage Tower challenge will also receive the Legion artifact appearance recolor: Druid Felbear Form. Since each Timewalking event only happens 3 times a year, it will be much harder to get rewards from it even if it happens regularly. Hopefully when patch 10.1.5 arrives with Battle for Azeroth Timewalking, the schedule will be adjusted to make Timewalking events more frequent, making it a little easier to claim Weather rewards.

Just open the Group Finder (default hotkey: I) and select Dungeon Finder and Weather from the Type dropdown menu.
