Gntc Spring 2022 Calendar – To support students seeking an associate degree, GNTC offers Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees. GNTC also has articulation agreements with other colleges for select undergraduate programs. An increasing number of GNTC general core and vocational classes are available for online completion through GVTC.

Online learning removes barriers of time and place that can prevent students from pursuing educational opportunities. To help GNTC’s online students succeed, GNTC recommends that all students taking an online option complete the SmarterMeasure assessment and view the available online DEMO on the GNTC website and select the “Blackboard” link.

When available, program courses can be completed at any GNTC campus (Catoosa, Floyd, Gordon, Polk, Walker, Whitfield Murray), as well as online through GNTC or through GVTC (Georgia Virtual Technical Connection).

Academic programs are grouped into educational divisions: Business Technologies, General Teaching and Learning Support, Health Technologies, Industrial Technologies, Nursing and Allied Health Technologies, and Public Service Technologies. Within instructional departments, programs are identified as nursing associate, applied sciences associate, diploma, or technical credit certificates (TCC).

Each program is a major area of ​​concentration consisting of general core courses and/or business-related courses. Courses are offered in a variety of formats: lecture, lecture/lab, clinical/practice-based, web-enhanced, hybrid, and online. Some, but not all, courses are offered in the evening.

Students must be prepared to take courses in all formats during their program of study.
