Skip to contentHvcc Calendar Fall 2022 – Rojas was committed to promoting classical guitar and music in his native Paraguay and founded the Barrios World Wide Web Competition, the first online classical guitar competition to support young artists. Rojas is one of the most influential women in the Hispanic world and has been honored by her country as a Distinguished Ambassador of Musical Arts.
He was named an American Fellow by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and recently joined the faculty of the prestigious Berklee College of Music (Boston). His performances and recordings are colorful journeys of music and sound, and include diverse and new works by various composers.
