The marathon and half marathon courses will start and finish at Bearskin Park in Manukau on the Bearskin/Hiawatha route and out and back.

Event Description

This course is certified by the Boston Marathon Certifying Agency for the Boston Marathon (ID # WI22019DM). The race will start with a gun start so everyone has the same start time. The Minocqua No Frills Marathon™ & Half-Marathon makes it easy and affordable because at this marathon it’s all about the race.

The race accommodates those interested in running their first marathon, as well as experienced runners trying to improve their time or qualify for the Boston Marathon (certificate #WI21023DM). Volunteers hand out water and Gatorade to runners as they pass.

Water station volunteers work 2-3 hours on the trail and are eligible for an event t-shirt. Drivers, register your family. It’s easy and fun. Volunteers will receive up to 2 free t-shirts at each water station.

T-shirts can be purchased at registration on Saturday night at the American Legion. You can sign with your shirt size or register with “I don’t want a t-shirt”. Bring a belt buckle or walking harness. All dogs must be controlled and up to date on all vaccinations.

The owner is responsible for the dog’s behavior. This is a great excuse to get some exercise and enjoy some quality time with your dog. The No Frills Marathon is a point-to-point run in the beautiful North Woods of Wisconsin, passing lakes and marshes, crossing old wooden bridges, and staying with pine cones along the way.

Come in costume! Registration starts at 8.30am at the south entrance of the school. Take a picture in front of the giant running fool located near the finish line. Cost per person is $30 for pre-registration, $35 for day-of-event registration.

Family 5K (up to 5 participants) can pre-register for $90; $100 on race day. ON PACE racing will once again be on track to set the pace for your skill level and ability. Look for their banners at the start of the marathon and half marathon and connect with pacers who will be running at your skill level.

Start your day with or without your dog before Minocqua Paws on Saturday, June 18th. The fifth annual race starts on Lakeshore Drive near Torpey Park and ends at Bearskin Park after passing Tressel. WI started in Tressel.

The competition starts at 8.00 am. If you don’t have a dog, don’t worry, you can still attend the event and join in the fun. We’ve added a gift category for those who can’t bring a dog.

This 5K event is open to anyone around a man’s best friend. Join us for the 5th Annual Minocqua Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Minoc Giving Day. The region’s only Turkey Trot welcomes friends and family to the streets and trails of Manocqua/Woodruff before the Thanksgiving festivities begin.

The Turkey Trot starts and ends at Faith Gospel Free Church in Woodruff. The race director is Rick Goff, pastor of Faith Gospel Free Church. Contact him at [email protected] Volunteers will receive up to 2 free t-shirts at each water station.
