This occurs every term with first semester students on the afternoon of the first day of classes. The program includes all students reciting the Veterinary Student Oath. We believe that for students to succeed academically, it is important that they feel comfortable in the island environment and have opportunities to learn about the culture of St. Petersburg.
Dvm Program
The orientation program aims to assist in this process. Some important aspects of the orientation program include discussion on Life in St. Kits, curriculum overview, leadership development, safety and life balance sessions. This is not your average vet school.

Students who apply after April 22, the last day to submit a Spring 2022 exceptional exempt degree application for a late application fee of $275, will not be eligible for May commencement ceremonies after the last day to withdraw from the University, students are in academic obligation and will receive a grade for each registered course.

Supplies Book Lists
Ross Vet requires all students to have health insurance for enrollment at the University. To that end, the University ensures that a health insurance plan is available to its students, their legal spouses and their dependents.
Students must be enrolled in a Ross Vet sponsored medical plan or prove coverage under another plan. Ross Vet delivers materials for your studies, including required school texts or materials, through the Ross Vet online bookstore using your student ID.
Ross Vet does not have a physical bookstore on campus, but you do not need to purchase hard copy texts, as students receive the required e-book package. We understand that you cannot fly directly on the next flight to St. on the last day to apply for a Spring 2022 Rush degree application to add/drop a course or withdraw from the university and receive a W grade for a late application fee of $175.
