A possible reason for this message is: The district set up an affinity group called CIMA (Cultural Identity Mentoring and Achievement) in every secondary school.

This program is designed to foster community among students of color at secondary level by encouraging the development of a positive identity and a culture of support. Group C.I.M.A will start in early March and will consist of around 20 students.

This program will last for 10 weeks. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Clark Hey Scotts! Shorecrest Talent Show Information Gathering New Dates! Mark your calendars now and come to the Talent and Volunteer Information Meeting on February 28 at the College and Career Center during Hiho!

It takes a lot of volunteers to help run the show, and you can earn hours of community service! The talent show is making huge profits this year, and we want students of all grades to showcase their talents and put on a great show!

Whether you like lip syncing, dancing, comedy or have a unique talent, we want you to get involved! There you see! March 2 and 3 – Counselors will visit English 9, World History, and US History classes to share application materials and answer questions.

Counselors will be available during lunch and next week’s hangouts to answer questions. Students interested in starting running for their first year must register for full classes at Shorecrest. Students must attend the Running Start meeting (date/time below) and the Shorecrest class will be transferred once the student is enrolled in a community college.

This is only relevant for students who are new to Running Start. If your students have started running, they may be enrolling in less than the full class load. Which form do I use? Use this registration form to select your request and course options for next year.

Make sure you use the 4 year planning worksheet and your graduation requirements to choose the class you’ll need for graduation.
