Consisting of two former members of King Crimson – Pat Mastelotto and Tony Levin – Stick Men is a rock band that also includes Markus Reuter and is touring with the release of the 2022 EP titled Tentacles.

Many of the songs are instrumental, and Reuter performs on a special touch guitar he designed, while Levin plays Chapman Stick with Mastelotto. All festivals and events are held at the Museum Depot in downtown Tomball on South Elm Street except for the July 4th Celebration & Roadshow on Commercial Route 249 at FM 2920. Admission and parking are always free.

Cypress Sips: A signature wine brunch event called the Cypress Sips Wine Brunch returns from 12 to 3:30 p.m. on March 11 at Cypress Seafood Station. Tickets are $75 and are 21 and over only. Tarzan the Musical: The Concordia Players from Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball present “Tarzan The Stage Musical,” opening March 3 at 7 p.m.

Returning to his roots, the Kooza show combines acrobatic performance and production art, according to the popular travel website. Held on a large platform in the parking lot of the race park, the show is offered Wednesday through Sunday every week through March 4 at different times, with multiple shows throughout the week.

Women’s Club: The Cy-Fair Women’s Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 2 at HCA North Cypress in the Founder’s Conference Room. The meeting is open to the public and admission is free. Church of Cash: The Johnny Cash tribute group Church of Cash will perform at 8 p.m. March 1 at Tomball Highway Crossing.

This month’s speaker is Chelsi Oestreich, who will talk about her experience with the Fort Bend Junior Service League’s Plum Market, which brings in more than $250,000 a year. Oestreich will discuss how her women’s organization helps create a positive impact in her community.

Both concerts: Hope Cowan and Zachary Montasser perform at 3 pm on March 14th at The Centrum in Spring. Tickets for adults are $15.
