Keywords are ad hoc words or phrases added to events to make them easier to find in searches. These also form part of the navigation – people can click on the keyword to bring up any entry that uses the same keyword.

Passwords are not used in updating our website. We encourage all contributors to the magazine to familiarize themselves with each aspect of event creation listed below, and follow best practices. This will make it easier for calendar users to find events.
There is always something amazing to see at CFA. We host some of the biggest music, theater and comedy events in the world. But some of our best performances are put on by students and faculty here at UB.

To add a detailed description of the event, click on the “Add detailed description” box directly below the summary field and enlarge the field by dragging down the page spreader in the lower left corner. This will open a comment field where you can add formatted text, HTML, and links, including registration fields.

This action will create a list of events in the calendar, which can be edited as a single unit, or individually for each consecutive event. When finished, save the details or cancel/delete and return to the main schedule information.
Audience selection includes the primary audience that is the target audience for UB events. Select the primary target audience for your event so that your event is easily found in user searches. You can select multiple audiences.
Event sponsors can choose more than one type or combine the type, event format, and audience to match their event’s purpose and content. To make it easier for people to find what’s happening, it’s recommended to post at least one category.
A best practice is to add at least one category for your school and one for the topic or theme of the event. The table below lists the types available to you. They represent common topics and themes for events.
Campus space is mandatory. Choose from these options based on where the event will take place. If your event is held on more than one campus, select the main campus and list additional campus locations in your event description.

If you want to change the time, or you want to change the event to another date, first delete the existing time block or you will have two items (one on the original date and time, and a new item on the new date and time
). Save/Post a new event: If you have permission to post your own events, you will see a ‘Confirm’ button at the bottom of the event creation screen. If you do not have posting privileges, click “Save” and your administrator will be notified that you have a pending meeting.
They will also receive notifications and see them listed in their waiting list on the content dashboard. Manage events: If you have unit administrator privileges, you can use the event management dashboard to find events, and approve (publish) or later edit/cancel/delete them.

Click in the link to take the time block (hour by default). Drag the time block or expand it as needed. You can also add multiple time blocks so be careful to delete anything you don’t want.
