Utd Academic Calendar Spring 2022 – Students are managed by the catalog in which they are enrolled or, at the student’s option, by the catalog of any subsequent year in which the student resides. Please see the Academic Requirements and Procedures section for more information.

Instructional Delivery

Instructors scheduled to teach the courses in person are asked to teach online through Friday, February 4. These classes are taught concurrently online on their designated day and time and students are expected to attend at their scheduled time.

Working Remotely

Those interested in classroom instruction in addition to concurrent online instruction should contact the appropriate department head or dean. Instructors will notify students when they have individual electives for their course. Students can choose to attend these courses in person or online.

Due to the change in teaching instruction, the University will not conduct random COVID-19 testing at the beginning of the spring semester. However, Jan. Starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, on-campus COVID-19 testing will be available for those showing symptoms of COVID-19 or who have had close contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19.

About The Undergraduate Catalog

We continue to follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which reduce isolation and quarantine time for those who are asymptomatic or have been exposed to COVID-19. Covid-19 teams are under isolation or quarantine to determine when students, faculty and staff are eligible to return to campus.

There are a small number of classes that receive permission to start or finish at unusual times. However, all classes related to a semester begin and end in that semester. Tuition calculations, financial aid and registration processes are based on classes taken in the assigned semester.
