The THSCA Coach of the Year Award was created to recognize high school coaches for their accomplishments off the field.
The district serves four communities: the entire city of Duncanville and parts of Dallas, Cedar Hill and DeSoto. Regency currently educates more than 12,800 students on 18 campuses: nine elementary schools, three junior high schools, three junior high schools, one high school, and two alternative campuses.

The Duncanville Department of Public Works is currently cleaning, repairing and disinfecting the sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) that occurred on January 16, 2023 in the City of Duncanville’s sewage collection system. The overflow originates from an air crossing located on the south side of Harrington Park at Tenmile Creek and Stewart Branch.

Duncanville, TX – On Thursday, January 19, 2023, the City of Duncanville teamed up with the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce for the annual Celebrate Duncanville event held at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas / Duncanville (800 N. Main St., Duncanville, TX 75116).
Hosted by the Chamber, the annual tradition brings together the Mayor, City Council, City staff, local business community, residents and stakeholders for an evening that recognizes the partnerships and accomplishments of the previous year. It is also known as an opportunity for the mayor of Duncanville to recognize local businesses and the state of the city debuted the year before.
The Duncanville ISD PTA Council consists of the PTA campus program president, campus director, headquarters administrator, and PTA members who serve as members of the Council. The group also holds public monthly meetings.
