The search name tells the user the capacity of the camera. Example: CV GUC 45+ will have a GUC space with 45-49 seats (as 49 is still the maximum allowed capacity). We will be accepting applications for various locations starting 07/18/20/ for academic courses.

Fall Change Standard Meeting Times
If you have any questions about the Pullman Summer/Winter session, please contact the Center for International Studies. On its physical campus, WSU will offer a combination of distance and in-person classes during the spring semester. Coursework will continue to be offered by remote registration.
Each campus will continue to implement a unique process for courses that require in-person access to special facilities or spaces (eg, lab and studio classes). WSU will continue to implement appropriate health and safety policies to protect its students, faculty and staff.
To allow for a buffer between the standard MWF and TH meeting times when a course uses doubles, such as MTWH, we have moved the Tuesday/Thursday meeting times five minutes later, starting at noon. For example, classes that used to meet between 12:00pm and 1:15pm using the old meeting times will meet at 12:05pm to 1:20pm starting in 2020. The second section allows the user to view the Instructional Mode on
basis Term, campus, academic unit, academic unit and subject. Dropdowns allow the user to change options. This section allows the user to generate a spreadsheet that displays the data. Updated Training Guides
Training takes place monthly, usually on the third Tuesday from 9-11am. The signature form will list the following data. Class Zero LMS: Canvas does not work in the continuous course schedule. You can remove it when you see it.
Set up your courses for Canvas in the new LMS Course Management component. Find it at: myWSU > Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Syllabus Builder > Manage LMS Learning Areas. Learn more about the latest LMS features.
The deadline for final confirmation is September 18, 2022. The confirmation date for this date is guaranteed to be visible in the Course Schedule when it runs on October 3, 2022. Section planners can complete the course by the 10th day of instruction.
“Unnecessary travel continues to pose a serious threat to the health of our students, staff, faculty and the communities that support our institutions,” said Provost and Vice President Elizabeth Chilton. “We need to make adjustments to the calendar to reduce this risk by giving students the opportunity to rest and refocus during the semester.”
We created a new OBIEE report to give departments a way to see how many departments and students are enrolled based on instruction status. This new report is located in myWSU > OBIEE > WSU Enrollment Summary Report > Enrollment Summary Dashboard > Master Status Summary.
The report provides “live” data from the previous evening. There is no way to view data on a specific date. The decision to change the summer semester calendar was made in collaboration with the Faculty Senate and included student input.

Several of the health science programs will run on different calendars due to clinical placements or collaborations with other institutions. The academic schedule for the upcoming semester will be available online for each WSU library. The spring 2021 semester will begin on January 19, one week later than previously scheduled.
Instead of having a weeklong spring break in March, WSU will set aside three days a week when classes will not be taught. A new set of pages was created based on student feedback. The student page of the COVID-19 Program has been added to this category.
New pages include: Viewing Class Timetables, Understanding the Teaching Environment, How to Teach Courses on Campus, and Exam Information. The late start of the semester allows WSU to accommodate any decisions made by the US Department of Education related to distance learning requirements.
The delay also allows for more rigorous testing and isolation procedures that were implemented this fall and will continue through the spring semester. Housing decisions will be announced for Summer 2021. November 2, 2020 We have updated the 25Live training rules in the right sidebar.
NEW! We have created a meeting type for your room search meeting. Please use “X DRAFT” as the event type when creating a new Room Search event. All current Room Search events using the 25L Pullman Event Academic have been updated.
We’re excited to see how much is going on in that room! Good job! You can set up a second search for Fall 2020, for example “Butch’s Room Search – Fall”. You can continue your summer search and just update the dates for summer 2021 if you want.

Campus planners use a tool called Optimizer to run classroom projects on many of our campuses. This facility is especially useful on the Pullman campus, where approximately 4,900 units may be in operation at any given time.
The optimizer uses the group construction option to assign GUC classes based on group elements. All relevant GUC fields must be listed in one of the four selection lists, otherwise the Optimizer will not assign the class.
Department schedulers can review preferences on the Build Options page and should contact their campus planner if changes are required. New information about scheduling VC sessions is updated on the Instructions > Video Conferencing page of our website.
You can find more information about order modes under Confirmation. Please note that there have been changes since the FAQs below were published. Most importantly, there is no need to create a separate section for a student taking a distance course while other students on campus are in the in-person section.
