Junior, Junior, Juvenile and Senior dancers are all eligible for the scholarship unless otherwise noted. The dancer receives a $100 credit to use towards future regional convention and/or competition fees. Valid from the date of receipt until the end of the next season’s regional tour.

Both individuals and teams are invited to showcase their talents and training during our regional and national dance competitions. Our competitions are designed to provide insight and feedback to dancers and their teachers as they pursue their next level of dance excellence.
On the second day of workshops at each regional event, WCDE faculty will conduct an audition for each age group to determine scholarship winners for that tour stop. All scholarships will be awarded during the weekend following the last class.

This level of Elite Scholarship includes a one-year convention scholarship. For Fall 2022, international master’s candidates admitted to the College of Engineering will select graduate courses offered in the university’s 15-week semester calendar. Beginning in January 2023, graduate programs offered by the College of Arts and Sciences, Business and Engineering will switch from an 11-week term calendar to the university’s 15-week semester calendar, except for the PhD in Behavior Analysis, MS in Applied

Each convention features world-class workshops in a variety of dance styles including jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, commercial, lyrical and musical theatre.
These workshops are an invaluable opportunity for young dancers to work with professional master dance teachers and a great way for dance teachers and studio owners to gain new moves, music and dance studio business training.
