When Is Palm Sunday In ?

The disciples did not fully understand the events of that day until Jesus was glorified. The crowd continues to see what Jesus did to Lazarus. Even though the Pharisees saw that they could not stop the world from following Jesus, they rejected Jesus.

This event is foretold in the Book of Revelation, where people once again wave palm branches to praise and honor Jesus Christ. They also saw the celebration as a way to glorify God, even though people did not understand what Jesus was doing.

Jesus’ visit to the cross took place after the event. The exact date of the first celebration of this holiday is unknown, but it is believed to have been celebrated in Jerusalem as early as the 4th century.

A detailed description of the palm ritual ceremony involving palm branches was recorded during this period. Holy Monday is said to be Jesus’ second day in Jerusalem. This year, Holy Monday 2022 falls on April 3.

The Triumphal Entry

Evening prayers are popular on the days between Palm Sunday and Holy Wednesday. The season ends on Maundy Thursday, or Maundy Thursday, and the Easter Triduum begins. On Thursday of Holy Week, during Jesus’ Last Supper, he foretold what was about to happen.
