Dwarf Fortress Calendar – If there are more than 3 major powers (historical figures with [Power] or [Megabeast] creature markings) when the world begins, it will progress through the Ages of Myth, Legends, and Heroes. If it is 3 or less, it will progress through powers of different durations.

Started, this thread started at about the same time as the “back to dwarf game” thread. As the seasons change, different weather conditions arise depending on your climate. A typical temperate mountain palace will have warm summers and colorful autumns with snow in spring and winter.

Great Powers In Control[Edit]

Seasons are the growing seasons from the Cue Farm Chart menu, which determine when during the year crops can be planted. (See the list of crops.) * If you’ve modified the game so that you don’t engage with goblins or kobolds, they will send you caravans and you can trade with them, but only if they have draft animals or wagons.

If the killers do this, they will send convoys in every season including winter. However, during the game in Castle Mode, the date scheme is YY-MM-DD. The Dwarf year consists of 12 months, divided into 4 seasons of 3 months each. Unlike the traditional Gregorian calendar, each dwarf month has exactly 4 weeks or 28 days, for a total of 336 days per year.
