Plan For Time In Prayer To Follow God’s Guiding
He wants us to look around and see the needs of those around us. We will live with Christ, not in the Garden of Eden, but in the city of God the Creator. A place full of life and relationships.
We become a prosperous, holy community with Christ as our loving and righteous King. Knowing this, the things that hurt us in the past are healed. We have a great promise that He will live with us and we will be His people.
He will faithfully do what he says. Even now, he is preparing his church as a bride so that he may receive us with joy. From beginning to end, all this has been accomplished through Christ.
He is making everything new! The one on the throne said, “Behold, I am renewing everything.” He said: Write this, because these words are true. Then he said to me, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.” (Revelation 21:5-6a NRSVUE) We cannot meet every need we can have—

Plan For Variety
Be content and everything will be better. John’s original readers lived in earlier times. Trauma and conflict are their reality, just like ours. But it does show that, after all human drama, everything will be new after death and amateurs are over.
Verse 4 shows that every tear we shed will be healed by God. Anything that causes us pain will be compensated. Imagine never having to be sad again – never feeling pain again, never being hurt or in pain
again.
This is beyond our human comprehension, but this is what John heard from the voice of God. Here are some basic ideas to consider. What if you called that friend who was struggling emotionally? How about serving meals to people who have surgery in your area?
What if we crossed the street and gave our new neighbor a plate of homemade cookies? One of our churches in the Philippines has an active program called Good Neighbors. I think that’s what Jesus meant.
