King Kamehameha Day 2023 – On Oahu, the flower show held in downtown and Waikiki is a sight not to be missed. The colorful parade features flower floats, colorful cavalry units and Hawaiians in traditional costumes dancing to traditional music. Many government offices, organizations, schools, banks and businesses remain closed on Kamehameha Day I. Some businesses may open reduced hours according to local custom.
