Food Days In January 2023 – 50 years ago, the Center for Science in the Public Interest started and designated October 24 as National Food Day for the first time with the intention of celebrating it on the same lines as Earth Day.
The goal is to “reform the food system to support healthy eating” by encouraging people to eat well with natural foods. It also aims to promote better food policies that will bring safety, sustainability and quality to our dining tables.

The pandemic has taught us that a healthy diet consisting of whole vegetables and fruits, along with a balanced diet of lean meat, improves everyone’s resistance to viruses and increases our chances of avoiding serious illness.

It can be difficult to come up with new activities during the dog days of winter, and these holidays provide some much-needed inspiration. For example, there are several days that can trigger planned events, such as Polar Bear Immersion Day, National Trivia Day, and Kids Inventors Day.
