Options To Sync Iphone Outlook Calendar
Any.do offers four different view options for your calendar — agenda, day, three-day, and week — and you can toggle the full month view on and off by tapping the box below the month. Go to settings to choose your preferred home screen for the app, opening to Tasks, Calendar, My Day or what you saw last.
Choose from nine different widget options to add a panoramic view of tasks, calendar events, or both to your home screen and Today view. The calendar should now disappear along with all the events that were in it.
Remember that sometimes it is necessary to delete registered calendars and CalDAV subscriptions in a different way through the Settings app. So if you don’t see a delete button and that’s what you’re trying to delete, try going to the Settings app just like you did to add the subscription.
I also kept the apps on my phone for a week to see how notifications, widgets, and calendar sync performed over time. The best calendar apps you’ll find here are the best I’ve found. After this first round of testing, I was able to narrow down the field quite a bit.

Then I went back to the top 10 – testing more advanced features like recurring events, scheduling and advanced notifications, and looking at the available widgets. If you want to add your Outlook calendar to your iPhone, there are two ways to do it.
One option is to download the free Microsoft Outlook app from the App Store to manage your email, calendar, and notes on your iPhone. The other option is to sync your Outlook calendar with your iPhone’s calendar app.
Although it comes down to personal preference, I strongly recommend the second option. This allows you to merge your calendar with other synced accounts so that all your saved meetings and appointments are in one place.
I find this much more efficient than checking and tracking individual calendars on your iPhone. Below, we’ll show you how to sync your Outlook calendar with your iPhone’s calendar app. Microsoft Outlook is aimed at Windows users, but the company also offers a calendar app designed for iPhone.

In her free time, she enjoys planning girls’ events and trying out new restaurants in Chicago. In the Calendar app on iPhone, you can set up multiple calendars to keep track of different types of events.
You can keep track of all your events and appointments in one calendar, but additional calendars are easy to set up and a great way to stay organized. Previously packaged as a separate app called Cal before being brought into Any.do, the app offers neat and functional calendar features like recurring events, location-based reminders, and native language event generation.
One of my favorite features is My Day, which helps you plan and prioritize your day by crossing off your upcoming tasks—and cleans the slate every morning. The default DayTicker view is clean and concise. Colorful bars across the top help you visualize overlapping multi-day events and judge how busy a particular day is at a glance.
The colors indicate which calendar an event belongs to – in the screenshot, purple events are in my personal calendar and green events are in my work calendar. Swipe down from the top to see the entire month.
Show Reminders In Calendar App
Got a Google Calendar link and don’t know what to do with it? Here we’ll show you an easy way to add Google Calendar to Apple’s Calendar app when you get a link to Google Calendar.
The Calendar app on iPhone and iPad can keep track of all your events and appointments, all in one place. But he doesn’t have to keep them all in the same calendar. If you prefer to keep your work and personal life separate, or have a specific calendar for children’s activities, special holidays, or anything else, you can easily do so.
Since each calendar gets its own color and you have the ability to hide or show individual calendars, it’s a great way to stay organized and stay smart at the same time. Additional calendars are easy to set up and if you never need them, they’re easy to delete too.

Whats The Best Calendar For Iphone?
Available in black and saddle tan, this compact bag is stylish and practical. The design offers several view options (agenda, day, three days and month). at the top of your screen, tap the icon in the top right to switch views.
In the agenda and day views, the default shows you a block of one week – pull down that week to see and scroll through the months. To allow anyone to access (but not edit) your iCloud calendar, make your calendar public using the steps below.

First, open the Calendar app on your iPhone. When it opens, select “Calendars” at the bottom. I have previously recommended Timepage as the best choice for beautiful design. It’s still a great option for some, but after switching to the app full-time for several months, I found that the main agenda view couldn’t accommodate more than a few events per day.
However, you can add participants to Timepage, so if that’s a key feature for you, it’s worth checking out. Outlook comes with six widgets of your choice for the Home screen and Today view. Plus, thanks to Microsoft Bing, you can even subscribe to the public calendars of your choice to add your favorite professional sports teams or TV shows to your calendar.
Final Thoughts
And you can connect Outlook with Zapier to automate tasks like adding new events to your to-do list or project management app. Here are some examples. The calendar app that comes pre-installed on your iPhone features all the simple views, ease of use and design that Apple is known for.
Tap the month or year in the upper left corner to zoom out from day to month to year. Tap Today in the lower left corner to return to today. Everything makes sense. The iPhone app offers the standard viewing options you’d expect, plus a handful of widgets for your Home and Today screens.
However, calendars offer by far the most useful week view. Unlike most calendar apps that squeeze seven vertical columns onto your screen, each day is a horizontal row, with events lined up on the right (see the leftmost image above).
It’s clean, easy to read, and you can even drag and drop each block to change the date or time of an event or task. As a whole, Calendars offers a clean, intuitive design, and the workflow for creating a new event is no exception.
Bonus Tip Share Your Calendar
The event creation screen prioritizes the basics so you can quickly add events—or one-tap to add more details like notifications, location, participants, conference info, and more. The app also offers top-notch natural language processing that rivals best-in-class apps.
Tap the colorful + at the bottom right and you can choose to create a new event, reminder, task or (the default) out of office. Invite guests, add web conference details, or attach files from Google Drive directly from the event creation screen.
By default, your iPhone allows specified people to edit your calendar. If you want to prevent this, on the Edit Calendar screen, select the recipient you don’t want to allow to make changes to your calendar.
If you use the Google Calendar web app, you’ll feel right at home in the iPhone app. It goes without saying that Calendar integrates seamlessly with the entire Google product suite. Automatically add events—like flight reservations or out-of-office appointments—from Gmail to your calendar.

And when you start typing a location, the app will offer suggestions from Google Maps. In exchange for the aesthetics and minimalism, there are a few downsides here. You can’t add attendees or shared events within the app, for one.
I also couldn’t find a native solution for marking a task as complete. That said, the integration with Apple’s Reminders is seamless, and Dawn will mark tasks as complete if you turn them off in the Reminders app.

One of my favorite features in Google Calendar on iPhone is the event images. Google uses information from the event details to create a visual image for the event – such as a food image for events that include “dinner”.
How I Tested The Calendar Apps
If you look at the middle screen above, you’ll see how the app included an image of where the comedy show was on my schedule. It’s a fun (and useful) way to see what’s coming up on your schedule.
Natural language event creation is where Fantasical really excels: as you type, the app shows how your words “fall” into the event details below, so you don’t have to double-check the details after the fact like you do.
other applications with natural language capabilities. How happy are you with your current calendar system? Gmail may be the calendar of choice for many, but what about the group of iPhone users who like to use Outlook?

For example, I can only see my work calendar events or limit the Seattle Kraken program I’m subscribed to. You won’t find many different view options here, but the day list view is perfect for everyday use, and the hyper-focused today view keeps you focused on the events and tasks at hand.
The month view includes one of my favorite features: a color gradient “heat map” to give you a bird’s-eye view of your busiest days (the darker the daily cycle, the more scheduled events and tasks). In addition to the application itself, Dawn offers a number of useful widgets.
