Lego Avengers Advent Calendar – We caught up with Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd and Scott Lang at the red carpet premiere of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania to discuss the new challenges he faces and what it’s like to travel in a secret direction

. talked about With the first appearance calendar, it’s pretty clear that smaller sizes and characters are the thing. With Avengers, there aren’t as many iconic locations, or even vehicles, compared to Star Wars, and if you look at LEGO sets, you always find random vehicles, machines, and ships.

With a confident smile on her face, she also comes in an elegant, very classic dress, with a sash running down the waist. Comes with 2 white power blast elements, which you can “throw” forward by pinching the “tails”.

Jonathan Majors is Kong the Conqueror, the greatest challenge to the MCU’s superheroes. He joins us from the premiere of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania to discuss what drew him to Kang as a character.

I think if there was more building and ship micro-building and less of a party theme, I’d be tempted to buy it. It’s still great to see you reveal them every day, but the main focus of the Star Wars calendar micro-build since 2011 has really set the bar for my expectations for an Advent set.

It was a big surprise, that LEGO would give us all 6 infinity stones, in their respective stones, so you get 4x of each! These were previously very rare as the Infinity Stones were scattered throughout the Infinity War sets, which were quite expensive to collect.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who found Day 2 somewhat stressful. But I can see that having the Power Blast items with the Iron Man of Tomorrow would be fun for kids who don’t have a bucket full of extra Power Blasts like many AFOLs.

And these aren’t even the multiple weapon bases of previous Star Wars calendars or the house flags of the first Harry Potter calendar. ? Dum-E has some great scenes in all of the Iron Man movies, especially Iron Man 1 which started the entire MCU, so this appearance calendar seems to revolve around Tony Stark making the fate of the Christmas pot in the lab

of. hosts, Dum-E is a great addition. On the 14th day. It’s never too early to start preparing for the final months of the year, and LEGO is kicking off with the latest release, The Avengers Advent Calendar.

The latest set comes with 298 pieces spread across 24 differently marked boxes — one for each of the first 24 days of December, of course. And all our favorite Marvel superheroes are invited to grace the halls, including Iron Man (in an ugly sweater), Thor cozying up in a bright red scarf, Spider-Man with a big mug of hot cocoa.

(or any hot drink on the web – the slinger chooses), Nick Fury is about to decorate a tree, and Black Widow is roasting marshmallows over an open fire. Just watch out for Thanos – he’s sure to be the Grinch of this party.

While I think the technique of using the steering wheel to attach the motors to the body is quite innovative and clever, it looks a bit unbalanced and I’m not a fan of how thin the steering wheel is.

That said, it’s a clever way to get the engines up and there’s a fun playability when you can tilt them down so it lands or takes off vertically. Evangeline Lilly, who plays Hope Van Dyne aka the Wasp, joins us live from the premiere of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania to discuss Hope’s journey and the evolving family dynamic in the film.

Note that I live in Melbourne, Australia (GMT +11), so we are ahead of most countries in the world (except New Zealand), so to avoid spoilers, come back to this post after opening your window. try to And build a daily model, especially if you live in the US or the UK.

is in other time zones like The combination of characters was also great, although it lacks a lot from the first Avengers – Captain America! I wish we had more seasonal and special appearances like Iron Man, but hopefully we’ll have more Christmas themed Avengers on next year’s calendar if they decide to keep it.

The minifigure is a nod to Spider-Man Homecoming in the damage control warehouse scene, where he is dressed in his spider suit as well as a yellow jacket. The arms on the minifigure are baby-colored, and instead of his school badge, he has a Spidey logo – probably because this minifigure isn’t meant to be a licensed Homecoming set, but a darker allusion.

Day 5 is a strange but very Australian Christmas staple – a BBQ grill! Christmas is the height of summer and barbecue season for Australia, so it was a very fitting gathering for us in the Southern Hemisphere.

Thor is Australian, so… maybe there’s a connection there? To keep up, it’s best to bookmark this post to check back every day. You can also find a link to this post from the main page via a link in the top navigation bar.

If you’re on mobile, you’ll need to expand the burger menu (3-line button) to find it. As the last minifigure in the calendar, I would have preferred to end on a more festive note – Thor dressed as Santa would be great, or a special seasonal trunk would be nice, but hey, lots of high quality minifigures in the calendar.

, it’s hard to complain at this point. This is also limited to the MCU. There are quite a few iconic vehicles and locations from the Fantastic Four an
d X-Men franchises, but this calendar seems to focus almost exclusively on Spider-Man and the Avengers.

(I could imagine a small Gridiron Daily Bugle, but obviously the equivalent of a Gridiron building would require additional license fees…) For Day 6, I also wanted tomatoes on my burger, so I went after the bits left over from the

Star Wars Lego Advent Calendar of the year and found 4 individual red pieces and combined them into two layers (2 red, 1 yellow, 1). green on each layer), so I would have lettuce, tomato and cheese on each layer, before putting the top bun on.

I love the way it looks! That’s it for day 7 so far! I really like how strong this calendar is so far – 3 Avengers in 7 windows is a great score and Spider fans will be delighted with this exclusive version of Spider-Man.

As a regular Lego advent calendar fan I am very impressed with this set but your blog really added value to what are half sets but also helped add some great commentary to go along with it.

Day 17 of the Marvel Advent Calendar gives us a staple vehicle of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – a Quinjet! These multipurpose jets are commonly used by S.H.I.E.L.D. And the Avengers are around and have been featured in most of the Marvel movies.

Very strange, and after such a strong start, left me wanting more. I don’t know why those power blast items weren’t included in the first window – maybe due to size and space? I haven’t been able to reply to every comment, but I’ve read every single one and it’s been so much fun counting down the days to Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! This minifigure is not special as this version of Captain Marvel has appeared once in 76152 Avengers Wrath of Loki, so it is good to have this version of him if you missed the set, especially the 4+ set.

In form, it is not. “It’s not really a set that adults will buy, unless they’re Marvel completists. We finally got an actual build on Day 3 of the LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar, with this wreath as a base.

There is actually a trans-blue rod connecting the base to the rim, but my edit messed up a bit and washed it out, so no, it’s not magic (or pim particles) bringing it up when I saw it.

So my first thought was that it was a hi-tech fireplace, but when I saw the clips on the side, I thought it might be an armor station similar to the stuff in 76125 and 76167. Looking at them, the base is almost identical to those, so

I’m now pretty sure that’s it. Hopefully we won’t have as many multiples of this build as the first Harry Potter appearance calendar, but it’s a fun and festive way to display the new holiday-themed Iron Man armor alongside the other Iron Man armor in my collection.

Day 5 – I know a lot of people call it ‘Chicken Leg’ but for Christmas I think it’s fun to call it ‘Turkey Leg’. Lego for Christmas bonding Great job and thanks Jay for your entertaining analysis.

Hi Jay! I am new to your blog but just wanted to tell you that I really like it. Your energy is palpable and I admire you for explaining things in terms that a 40 year old mom like me can understand.

? Thanks for this amazing labor of love! Other than that, it’s pretty basic, but the presence of clips at each end suggests it’s meant to be attached to other builds, which makes me very excited for the next few days and what else we can add to the Christmas wreath.

Yes! We’re so grateful you’re here to explain some of the intricacies of these characters because we’re going to be lost. We’ve had a good laugh with them so far, but even more so when we can read your blog here to better understand what’s going on with them.

Thanks! While we’re making these attendance logs, we’ll be here, waiting to see what you have to say about them. This mother is very admirable. Oh no, it can happen sometimes – you can contact LEGO customer service and tell them you have a copy and they will send the correct one in the post.

Hope this helps! To make it easier for you to see each day’s section, as this post will grow with each new window, all you have to do is click on the day you want and you will be taken to the relevant section immediately.

Wow, after a disappointing Day 2, the Marvel Advent Calendar is back and trying to win me back. The Day 4 window gives us another minor appearance and the main avenger – Natasha Romanoff better known as Black Widow!
