LMU Family Week is an opportunity for school-age families to personally experience the Lions academic, service and community values they experience every day at Loyola Marymount University. ** Day and night students may meet at the instructor’s discretion, and students are required to be present for class-related academic activities such as class meetings, reviews, exams. Day and night classes for freshmen do not meet on open class days, as they are scheduled for mid-term mid-term and first-year evening exams.
As part of your learning experience, first-year students will watch a series of videos that provide information on learning aids and student resources. Credit is awarded and students can work at their own pace. New Student Orientation modules should be completed prior to arrival to learn about making payments to your student account, ordering course books, accessing student resources, and getting involved on campus.
As part of your internship, incoming transfer students will watch a series of videos that provide information about enrollment, course materials, and student resources. Credit is awarded and students can work at their own pace. Transfer Orientation modules must be completed prior to course registration to prepare you for enrollment and understand the next steps before entering campus.

The university requests that students, faculty and staff be tested before entering campus for the spring semester and test negative or confirm that they have had Covid-19 in the past 90 days prior to entering campus.
You can do PCR tests up to two days before your return, while rapid antigen tests can only be done one day before your return. Tests are taken at home. Please send a photo of your negative result at home in the link below.
New Lions, check out your Future Lions portal for personalized pre-arrival information including registration details, important dates, orientation activity options and a to-do list before the first day of school. Log in with your LMU email and password.
All students are required to submit their immunization records to the Immunization Documentation Portal. Failure of residential students to register vaccination information within the specified time limits will result in the cancellation of their residence permit agreement.

Parents and family members are welcome. Your student is preparing for school this spring, and there are many things that need to be done before the first day of classes. Learn about the tasks and processes students must complete to prepare for their first semester at LMU.
All students can register at their Regional Office during regular Regional Office hours. If you are an incoming student, make sure you coll
ect your OneCard from the OneCard office during their opening hours. All students must complete pre-registration and select a time slot.
To do this, log into MyLMU and select “Online Student Housing Services” from the “Campus Life” menu at the top. To access the housing portal, click on the blue “Housing Portal” button and then complete the pre-registration following the notification instructions on the home page.
You will not be able to access or register your accommodation until this process is complete, so we recommend that you register as soon as possible! Each certificate and professional program is uniquely designed to enable participants to enhance their skills and knowledge, enhance their formation, or assist in a desired career or service change.
Scholarships and tuition assistance are available for those who qualify. The programs are listed below. Student and university housing policies may be revised for the Fall 2022 academic year as pandemic conditions change. Offered in partnership with the Spiritual Development Center in Orange, California, this three-year spiritual leadership development program, which begins September 10 and accepts applications through June 30, is designed for individuals who recognize a calling to serve as spiritual leaders.

Parents and family members are welcome. August 1-24: Normal parking rules and regulations apply. Parking permits and parking information can be found on the parking and transport page. When driving, please make sure you park in the designated parking space and obey all parking signs and personnel.
Parking in red zones, fire lines or any marked area is strictly prohibited. Orientation gives you the opportunity to connect with peers, learn to navigate campus, and begin exploring the LMU community in real, hands-on ways on the Westchester campus.
