Skip to contentMiis Calendar – Access to department folders or special projects (S: drive) is controlled by membership in group lists. A person in a department or project is given ownership of the list and can add/remove members. Editing is done through the Address Book in Outlook.
The steps below are adapted from Microsoft’s instructions at this link. When you send messages, copies of the messages you send remain in your mailbox. Note that if you follow the link above, you will probably need to send your email (first set of instructions) so that if you reply from the sent address, replies will go to the original sender.

If you send your email (using the second instructions), every email will appear as if it came from your MIIS account. A best practice to help schedule events is to enter “Busy” events when you don’t want scheduled appointments.

For Windows Outlook
For example, if I take Friday off, I want to create a “Busy” event on Friday from 8am to 5pm. Please note that your MIIS address is considered the official link between you and the school.
If you are forwarding your MIIS email, it is your responsibility to ensure that delivery works so that you do not miss important emails. We all get a lot of Viagra ads on campus. Luckily, there’s an easy way to put it in its place… garbage.
