Occ Calendar Spring 2022 – If the holiday falls on a Friday, then the Saturday and Sunday classes will NOT meet. If the holiday falls on a Monday, then the classes will meet on Saturday and Sunday. If the holiday falls on a Friday and Monday, classes on Saturday and Sunday will NOT meet.

Fall

Students who never attend a class or stop attending a class at any time MUST officially withdraw before the specified deadlines to avoid grade/fee penalties. Students can withdraw through the MyCoast portal, by mail (US postmarked by the deadline specified), or by coming in person to the Enrollment Center (during normal business hours), or by emailing the Enrollment Center at arinfo

Spring

Synchronous classes are scheduled similarly to face-to-face classes, with specific meeting times in which students will be required to participate. Asynchronous courses offer students deadlines for completing work. Classes that cannot be held in some type of online format, such as vocational labs, science labs, athletics and art activity classes, will be scheduled on campus as directed by a classroom assignment.

All campus classes follow campus health and safety guidelines established by the State of California. Below are some useful dates to keep in mind throughout each semester. Refund, registration and cancellation deadlines are different for each course.

Students are responsible for confirming that their application has been received and processed to avoid grade/fee penalties.

OCC LIVEONLINE – Similar to an in-person class with designated meeting times. This class is offered synchronously using ConferZoom, Canvas Conference, or other synchronous technology during the scheduled time. Students must use a computer/laptop with administrator rights.
