Comments or questions regarding the implementation of the collective bargaining agreement may be directed to Labor Relations at [email protected].

•    Employees may use vacation days prior to actual accrual. •    Newly hired, replaced and covered employees may use their accrued vacation before six (6) consecutive months in paid status. •    Employees with accrued compensatory time may elect to use their three vacation days to cover or offset the use of vacation time.

•    Employees who do not wish to use vacation or compensatory time may request leave without pay, pending department approval. In this case, employees will not lose their vacation time or leave resources during these three days.

Four paid university holidays (December 23, 26, 30 and January 2) will be observed while the campus is closed. However, three days (December 27, 28, 29) are considered retrenchment leave and are not paid holidays.
