Uw Bothell Academic Calendar – Signing up for the Study Calendar for Personal Report is easy. From the schedules added to this page, you’ll select the URL associated with the calendar you want to subscribe to, and paste it into the field shown on your monthly calendar.
When you enter the URL, the calendar will appear in your calendar. You can add all calendars to your monthly calendar at once. Or, if you need deadlines or holidays, for example, you can add a personal calendar.

There will be no communication with the students during the initial phase. Students participating in the pilot will find information about the new curriculum and definitions in the Schedule of Sections. The student user group shared feedback during development that the content was comprehensible and easy to understand.
Course Mode Definitions
UWT courses with DL electives are always required to show the type of study in real time. Therefore, the DL curriculum should involve testing new learning methods. The current plan is for UWS and UWB faculty to be invited, but not required to participate in Spring 2023.

Integration with MyPlan is not in the works for pilot, but plans are in place for MyPlan integration at a later date so students can filter better. For the types of courses that work best for their schedule.
While this is true for all courses, instructors and students new to asynchronous online courses should know that this means meaningful engagement—such as postings, activities, or assignments—must be held during the first week of class. All courses follow the dates shown in the academic calendar.
Students must attend class during the first week of the quarter and complete all courses by the end of the quarter, regardless of course type. no Hybrid courses are regular in-person courses and online for others.

The ‘D’ Flag For Distance Learning No Longer Appears
Sometimes modifications to the schedule to accommodate travel, medical procedures or other planned events may be indicated in the instructions. That’s right. Synchronous online classes should be held at the same time as in-person sessions. For example, if your class meets at MWF 1-2pm, an online session should meet in the 1-2pm window on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.
The schedule will include information about when and where the class meets (eg, MW 1-2pm in person, F 1-2pm via Zoom). Policy and practice around distance education (for example, approval of courses, definition of distance education, etc.) remains the same, but online timetables will now show ‘A’ and ‘O’ instead of ‘D’.

The school registrar’s office will contact teachers to confirm the first week of participation. If the office cannot confirm, students enrolled in the course will be asked to contact the Office of Student Financial Services to discuss the impact.
US law allows international students on F-1 and J-1 visas to participate in blended courses that include individual courses. F-1 visa students may not take more than one (1) course per semester that is offered online without the need for individual instruction, whether synchronous or asynchronous.
J-1 visa holders are not eligible for fully online courses. More detailed information is available from International Student Services for F-1 full-time enrollment or J-1 full-time enrollment.
