Advent Calendar 2022 Lego – Especially for aspiring young builders who love the LEGO Friends product line, this year’s calendar easily earns our 4/5 Star rating (Recommended). The level is comparable to last year, but the decision to include all five girls as micro-dolls adds some diversity to the mix.

Most importantly, most of the micro-builds are excellent, and offer better value for money than other Advent Calendars 2021. Today we open the most important Christmas present: Baby Yoda! Grogu stepped out of the Star Wars advent calendar in a holiday-ready outfit.

From Harry Potter we release a small picture of Draco Malfoy who is very happy with the holidays. Marvel brought us back with Christmas Thor. One of the most impressive parts of this Advent Calendar is the amount of paper it contains.

Some of my favorites are the “Happee Birthdae” Harry cakes, the ticket to platform 9¾, and the two chocolate cards. We have five advent calendars this year, across the city, Friends, Star Wars, Marvel (especially Guardians of the Galaxy) and Harry Potter themed.

Let’s go inside and see what’s behind the doors on the first day, shall we? Usually we only feature two Minifigures in the LEGO Advent Calendar, but the LEGO Friends calendars are usually something more. In years past, the entire series included two or fewer minidolls (and none in 2018).

Last year it was mixed, with two Minidolls, and two small elves Microdoll. Brick Brothers respects your online privacy and security. In what may not be an upgrade or a downgrade, this year’s calendar has no Minidolls – but does include a Microdoll version of each of the five girls in the LEGO Friends line. Many children’s clothes make me think that the girls are like small children, rather than just a small scale.

Top Mini Builds

The series has 19 mini-builds, although they vary greatly in size and quality. It only takes two doors combined to make a large model, so you get a lot of small constructions combined with this series.

I didn’t spend much time studying the box art before starting, but there were some quick notes. The first is the lack of the usual model of Friends Minidolls (which we will discuss later), and the second is a compliment to the fact that only a few small things are damaged in the box.

Despite our efforts, there is clearly strong demand for these sets as they are sold out on LEGO.com. At the time of this announcement, the series is still available on Amazon so grab a copy soon before it retires.

In trying to measure this series, I fear that this series cannot deliver. It can’t give us good upgrades, it can’t give us a good choice of minifigs, and in general it makes us weak. As much as I like the Grogu Kid, his sheer power doesn’t raise the rating higher than a 2/5 Star rating (Requested).

Initial Impressions

As in previous years, the Advent Calendars were released on September 1st and will be retired at the end of the year, be sure to pick one up before it’s gone! The licensed set can be purchased for $39.99 (29.99 € / £24.99 / 49.99 CAD / 49.99 AUD) and the unlicensed set for $29.99 (24.99 € / £19.99 / 39.99 CAD / 49.99 AUD).

This series has a large number of pieces but what is most special is the number of unique or interesting items in this series. This set has lots of pieces in new colors that are in 10 or less sets!

In addition to the parts, the minifigures in this series are all printed and there are five sets or less added to the special! #76196 LEGO Marvel The Avengers Calendar Sale is $39.99, (29.99€ / £24.99 / 49.99 CAD / 49.99 AUD), 298 pieces, ages 7+.

The set comes in at a whopping $0.13 a piece in the MSRP price, although it includes 7 minifigures and is a great way to get the rarest pieces of the Infinity Stones. The thumbnails in this advent calendar feature a series of amazing images from the Expanding Universe and include some miniatures to match the holiday spirit.

The ones that stood out to me were made because they were used in the fun of the Advent Calendar, noticing their rarity in the long term. Honestly, I had never heard of an advent calendar until I started reading LEGO calendar reviews on Brick Architect.

With the opportunity to put together a series of advent calendars, I was full of hope because I wanted to make small and micro-sized things like my own favorite LEGO. Also, this is the first new LEGO set I’ve built since the basic set I got for Christmas as a kid.

The article examines our first impressions, general opinions, and highlights some of the rare or interesting parts included in each series. To avoid spoiling the entire advent calendar, we’ve highlighted just a few of our favorite thumbnails along with four of our favorite things for the advent calendar.

To keep the element of surprise, we won’t tell you which doors form each! On the licensing side of things, Star Wars gives us the Gunship Republic, but we get Peter “Starlord” Quill in the Marvel timeline.

Initial Impressions

Harry Potter gives us a glimpse of the Diagon Alley shop – perhaps Ollivander’s Wand Emporium, which played a major role in the first film. Although a licensed series does not come with unique features that can be found in this series.

However, it comes with three unique features that are so far available in this series. All of the sections printed in this set are all small sections which is a little disappointing because most other advent calendars come with at least one exception or section.

Aside from the random Christmas tree, which I think was thrown in to make it feel more “holiday”, the theme is strong. CJ: I’m not an HP person, so I thought it was a coffee machine display at first.

The gun is obvious, but Peter’s go-to shoes are awesome. She prefers the leggings over the Friends minidoll in terms of style. As we saw in the other new Advent Calendar theme, this set includes a wide selection of miniatures!

The Marvel Advent Calendar features 7 minifigures and an additional 2 minifigures that almost count as miniatures! The miniatures in this series cover a wide variety of genders and races to emphasize the diversity of Super heroes and how they can be anyone from any walk of life.

Chris: Well, I get where they’re going with the rocket boots and I’m not sure what the best solution is to use the elements now, but these are the best, ugly and ugly looking. This little weapon is dangerous, just like Ollivander.

Top Mini Builds

The LEGO City 2021 Advent calendar box art shows 14 spoilers for the contents of the day’s boxes, so gift-givers will want to keep that in mind. As soon as I opened the lid of the box to reveal the beautiful background of the winter cityscape calendar and the sports game carpet of the city, I was thrown away by the days of the calendar that are not in numerical order.

I had to take a quick look at Wikipedia to see that putting random dates on the Advent calendar is common. Having cured this madness, I worked (more like playing!) Developing the parts and building the set.

Looking Back

The four little houses stood out to me and will be highlighted below! Adam: Malfoy is very nice. I love the Harry Potter build for this year, but another clear example reminds me that while all the other calendars often feature characters we are familiar with in a holiday theme, it’s not Harry Potter.

It actually feels more like I picked up a set of board games than I did an advent calendar to help celebrate the holidays. LEGO Advent Calendars are a great way to make the winter holidays extra special for you or your family.

Each advent calendar targets its own audience and has a unique design, so we hope this review has helped you decide where you want to build this year before Christmas. Another mistake is that LEGO yellow is a “neutral” color that does not represent any human skin.

Through the eyes of this AFOL African American, yellow, light color, it is like a “white” skin. I don’t understand why LEGO can’t randomly change the skin color of its miniatures in unlicensed sets like advent calendars.

Initial Impressions

Because of this advent calendar in the main city, there are many cars in the small houses, and some small houses / houses. I like small cars, but building many of them in a row must be done repeatedly.

There were also some buildings that I wasn’t sure what would end up being. Because of these differences, the series gets our 3/5 Star (Good) rating. With five different sets this year there is plenty to choose from!

Any of these advent calendars are a great way to work through the holiday season while building some cool LEGO models. Hope this review helped you make an informed decision about which advent calendar to get for your friends, family or yourself.
