If the instructor notices a grading error, he or she can submit a change to the Registrar’s Office within the next term’s deadline. The only basis for a grade change is an error in grading or calculation.
Grades cannot be changed based on the submission of additional work or tests that are returned after the submission of grades, except for the “I” and “IP” grades. If a student believes that a grade has been assigned incorrectly, due to an error in calculation or an error in recording the grade, the student must consult the instructor before the end of
the second week of the next term. Students should know that, according to the evaluation, a grade will be raised, lowered or left the same. If the instructor agrees that a change should be made, the Grade Report must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by the deadline of the next term.
