Cal Poly Fall 2022 Calendar – Feed Cal Poly makes it easy for all faculty, staff, students and supporters to donate to Mustangs in need. Food insecurity is a very real and ongoing problem on campus. By supporting Cal Poly’s Basic Needs Initiative by donating to Feed Cal Poly, all Mustangs have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Cal Poly’s Feed website makes giving fast, easy and accessible, and there are no limits to how much you can give. Just login and follow the steps. Students with cafeteria memberships can donate unused dollars through the Mustang Meal Sharing Program.

World Food Systems

This course bridges the gap between military and civilian and teaches students early in their careers how to evaluate military decision-making processes. Our mission is to work with a network of community partners to end hunger and build stronger communities in San Luis Obispo County.

Cal Poly has an SLO Food Bank drop-in site in Mott Lawn that is open to everyone on the 4th Tuesday of every month. We are in the process of creating a mentoring program that will pair our current students with an alumni or two to help them find their future careers.

We invite you to participate in the “design phase” of this program and let us know your needs, wishes, and questions. Those interested please come to the meeting this Thursday. We are also considering forming an ad hoc student committee if we are interested in creating a continuous channel of student opinions and interests in the POLS President’s office.

Now in its fourth year, the Butte County Sustainable Communities Scholarship is open to high school seniors in Butte County, California public schools, as well as students who have graduated from a Butte County public high school in the previous four academic years (2019).
