So this toddler advent calendar would have been just the ticket for that stage. Amazon $20 or Target $20. Or another version for $13. I love Kid Made Modern stuff and we usually stumble upon most of their craft supplies at Target.

This craft advent calendar kit seems a little more doable for me this year. Yes, it still requires adult supervision due to the small parts, but not so many colors and super dirty things. Feh, I need my coffee first, please!

You start opening the boxes either 24 or 12 days before Christmas, depending on how many items are in your Advent calendar.
Box number one is opened first, followed by a new box each day. Every day you open a new box that adds to your collection of prizes. The number of the open box shows how close you are to Christmas Day.
