It’s a taste of 24 days! Plus, it comes with a little “spot the difference” kids game on the back of the box. I am shocked at the prices! I received our box the last week of November.

It was only $49.97! I grabbed it after chatting with another woman who grabbed one. This is our first year trying it… and I love it! Every night we have a ritual of grabbing a bottle and watching a YouTube video.

To see if your local Costco has this item, call them and ask about item #1418592. And as we’ve mentioned in our previous Costco wine box reviews, these little bottles come in handy when you want to open a few different styles, when you just want a couple of glasses, or when you’re traveling.

We like to start with white during cooking and switch to red with a meal. This is perfect for him. There’s no indication on the box of what’s inside the wines this year, so we’ll list them at the end of this review for those who are curious.

Here are some native grapes we’ve never heard of, so that’s always fun. A box like this is a great way to expand your wine knowledge. We learned a lot by writing this. This is a unique blend of Fernao Pires and Branco Arinto, two indigenous grapes that we have never tried before.

The wine is light golden in color with flavors of grapefruit and peach; It’s bright, sharp and tart, somewhat reminiscent of a light-bodied Viognier. And here it is. Overall we found this very disappointing as only 7 or 8 wines actually made it into the right category.

It had a lot of potential, but it really felt like the producers were more interested in the marketing side of things than the wine. This is especially disappointing because this is probably many people’s first introduction to many of these regions and grapes.
