Equal Opportunity Statement

This is the accommodation rate based on the standard rate and will be adjusted to the official accommodation rate when assigned. No quality points are awarded. To qualify for incomplete status, a student must complete 75% of course work with a grade of “C” or better within the time period set by the instructor, but within one semester after posting an “I” grade.

The following point scale is used: A-4 for each grade; B – 3 points for each grade; C- 2 points for each grade; D – 1 point for each grade; F-0 points for each grade. “S” and “U”s count toward attempted and earned credits, but do not count towards GPA calculations.

Grades awarded for developmental courses (defined by CCHE as Basic Skills courses) do not count towards a student’s grade point average (GPA). Scoring of developmental courses uses a developmental grading mode (S/A, S/B, S/C, U/D, U/F).

These credits are calculated from credits earned and credits attempted. GPA for accreditation terms such as President’s List, VP’s List and Dean’s List do not include development courses in their calculations. I Incomplete

Students are responsible for meeting all graduation requirements and for compliance with all Northeastern State University policies, procedures, and regulations, including responsibility for reviewing degree audits for accuracy. Advisors may not change, waive or waive students from any established academic requirements or standards.

While every effort is made by the Supervisor to provide accurate and up-to-date information, all advisory information regarding coursework, academic progress and graduation is considered unofficial. The NSU Registrar’s Office is the official final authority for all programs, degrees, and graduation requirements.

No quality points are awarded. Withdrawal must be initiated by the student or instructor and the process must be completed (X, Y and documents submitted and approved by the Registrar before 80% of the total course length has been completed.
