Leap Year Status

The district strongly feels that the best academic calendar for our schools is one that ends the first semester before Christmas. To do this and comply with state law, the district has adopted a modified year-round calendar.

The biggest difference between the year-round modified calendar and the traditional calendar is that there is a one-week gap between each of the 9 weeks. Students still have June and July for summer vacation.
