When preparing the calendar for the academic year, the university makes every effort to avoid conflicts with religious holidays. However, conflicts are sometimes inevitable. When this happens, special arrangements are made for the affected students.
Q2 Course Withdrawal Deadline (11:59 PM ET) Withdrawing a Q2 course after this date is considered a withdrawal and will guarantee a “W” on your transcript and the unit credit cost of the course will count toward your CU21 limit.

Students above the 21 CU threshold are charged an additional tuition fee. You cannot withdraw from a course after the last class has started. Drop/Add Deadline: 3rd Quarter and Full Semester Courses (11:59 PM ET) If the course is full at 11:59 PM ET on January 23rd, drop the course after that date and time to save space on your transcript.
“W” will ensure that one of your classmates has used it. This term also applies to Section 3 and Quarter 4 of all WHCP classes. Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Election Day in November, the first two days of Passover, and Good Friday are holidays that affect many members of the university community and fall during the academic year.
