Skip to contentPlainfield 202 Calendar – Teachers will start the next school year on August 17. The Thanksgiving holiday will be Wednesday, November 25th through Friday, November 27th. The winter break will be from December 21 to January. 4. Summer vacation will be from March 29th to April 7th.
The first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 19 next year, according to the school district. The last day of school will be May 27, 2021, unless snow or emergency days are used. If the five day rain/emergency applies, June 4, 2021 is the last day of school.

This year, 202 students will return to school full time during the summer. Distance learning will only be offered to students who are in quarantine and have been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19. Currently, masks are not optional for students and staff in District 202, although district officials said Wednesday that the policy is being reviewed in light of updated guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
