Pxu Calendar – February is a lovely month (pun intended). And while the weather in February might not be great where you live, there are still cool-weather perks like wool socks, cozy sweaters, and mug after mug of hot cocoa that we think are plenty of reasons to love

to have this month! Even though it’s February… While love may be closely associated with Valentine’s Day, it’s definitely not reserved for that holiday alone – love is for every day! And the symbol or shape most synonymous with love is, of course, a heart.

Think of the phrase “I love New York” or when people say “I love you” etc…. The iDays are days dedicated to individual learning. These designated days are designed to support independent, mastery-based learning outside of the classroom and to provide comprehensive support for students, teachers, staff and families.

Food journals are a good idea for several reasons. If you think you may have certain food allergies, they can be great for helping you identify when unpleasant symptoms occur and what foods you may have eaten to trigger them.

They can also be helpful if you are trying to eat healthier and/or change… The Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) is one of the largest and most progressive school districts in the United States. With 23 schools, more than 28,000 students and nearly 4,000 employees, PXU covers 220 square miles of Arizona’s capital city.

If K-8 students were counted in its 13 partner elementary school districts, it would be among the 25 largest unified school districts in the country, with more than 110,000 students. Please watch the videos below to receive a welcome message from our Superintendent, Dr.

Chad Gestson. Valentine’s Day in elementary school is such a nice day: not only do students give their Valentine boxes or bags that they have decorated themselves, but they give out sweets and Valentine cards to all their friends and teachers, and they probably can too.

.. Flowers are a beautiful part of nature and are sure to make anyone smile and dream of strolling through a charming backyard garden or jogging through a huge field full of flowers on a sunny summer day.

Regardless of the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of types of flowering plants in the world and so… Word Scrambles may seem easy to solve, but we know from experience that they can be complicated!

But we believe that since they are specifically St. Patrick’s Day crosswords, we’ll be lucky and can find a way to solve them! (However,… We love Valentine’s Day for all the ways we can show and express our love and appreciation to those we are with and the people who have touched our lives. Whether it shows

you with a teddy bear, a bouquet of flowers, a box of chocolates, a poem, a handwritten note… Even though we didn’t literally find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, we still wish, like children, one day to follow a colorful rainbow and find

pile of gold coins at the end! We even want to settle for the gold foil wrapped chocolate variety! ? St. Patrick’s Day welcomes everyone… Students have the option of doing mastery based assignments and/or projects at home or

they can report to a secure location at their designated plant Whether at home or on the squad, students are responsible for completing and submitting all school work There are a few things that indicate spring

here at last egou: tense not warm, recurring rain showers, flowers starting to bloom (check out our free flower coloring pages here ), and little animals – especially bunnies – hopping around! We love bunnies for their pink noses, long floppy ears, and short fluffy tails.

If you have a pet… Students have the option of doing mastery and/or project-based assignments at home, or they can go to a secure location on their assigned campus. Whether at home or on campus, students are responsible for completing and submitting all schoolwork.

If you’re like us, you’re always looking for an excuse to bake a cake! Whether it’s a birthday (free printable birthday cards here), a holiday, or just a random Wednesday night, we feel like every day is worth celebrating!

And it can be a carefully decorated three-layer cake… We recognize certain school days as iDays. Our iDays initiative allows students to focus on individual needs and complete mastery or project-based assignments from home. However, if your student needs a safe space, contact your school to make the choice to attend a designated safe space (library, cafeteria, gym or auditorium) on campus.

While in the safe space, students are expected to bring their laptops and work independently to complete individual assignments. Students can also log in for support during scheduled business hours. Whether at home or in a safe place, all students are responsible for completing and submitting assignments on time to their individual teachers.

Los iDays are designed to be distance learning days. Each plant will have a designated space supervised by individual students who require a safe environment to perform remote tasks. There will be no direct teaching on these days.

If your student needs a safe space, contact your school. Students do not need to be on the roster. Students involved in extra-curricular activities should arrive at the team after finishing the school day. Yes. Why the initiative, you might ask? The Phoenix Union School District Board of Trustees has approved the use of alternative instructional time models to support our instructional delivery, as well as create time and space to support the social and emotional health of our students, faculty, staff and families.

These designated days provide a great opportunity for us to check in and connect with the well-being of our community, and continue to provide creative instruction for our students. In addition, iDays along with comprehensive services such as social, emotional and academic support ensure that the individual needs of our students and families are met.

You may or may not be of Irish descent, you may have worn green, eaten Lucky Charms, dyed your milk green, and wished a friend a “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” on March 17 green Or maybe you even had traditional Irish bread, corned beef, Irish potato soup or shepherd’s pie on St. Patrick’s Day….

Color by number pages are one of our favorite coloring activities because the end result looks very much like stained glass! It’s especially impressive when there’s a lot of color involved, which is why these St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages are especially noteworthy!

With all the rainbows and golds and different colors… Most of the holidays we celebrate involve giving gifts in one form or another. Whether it’s giving gifts or treats to family, friends, co-workers, teachers, classmates, students, neighbors or significant others, there always seems to be a good time to express

to them that we appreciate them and that we are thinking of them. Even though it’s Valentine’s Day… iDays are designed to be isolated days of learning. Each campus will have designated and supervised space for individual students who need a safe environment to complete their remote assignments.

There will be no direct instruction on those days. If your student needs a safe space, please contact your school. Students do not need to be on campus. Students involved in extracurricular activities must arrive on campus after the end of the school day.

These fruits are healthy and delicious… Every year I wonder if March will come in like a lion and leave like a lamb or if it will be the other way around! No matter what weather you live in, we can count on one thing: March is a lucky month!
