Apply For Graduation

Optional Tours And Presentation
Once in the application, students can find the ICP tab in the Student Life section and get important information about International Student Orientation and its resources. Downloading Microsoft Teams to your desktop or laptop will provide the fastest access to briefings, but is not necessary as events will be viewed in your internet browser.
The Microsoft Teams app is required if you’re accessing from a mobile device. All audience members will be silenced upon entering the meeting and at the end of the presentation they will have the opportunity to ask written questions through the “Q&A” feature on the right side of the screen.

International Student Orientation
Spring 2023 degrees will be published starting May 19, 2023. Your title will be published or denied by May 26, 2023, and you will receive an email when this happens. Diplomas will be sent the week of May 29, 2023.
The Texas Legislature sets the number of paid holidays each year and gives universities the flexibility to set a vacation schedule that aligns with the academic calendar. In years when Parliament is in session, the next year’s holiday calendar is usually in early July.
In non-legal years, the following year’s holiday calendar is usually available in early May. Students do not need to show proof of COVID-19 test results or proof of vaccinations to attend International Student Orientation. However, UTD recommends that students follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for traveling abroad.
Students are advised to check the UTD Covid-19 Response website regularly for updates and institutional guidance. Individuals with disabilities may submit an accommodation request to participate in this event on the UT Dallas ADA website. Religious Holidays
All orders must be received 10 business days prior to the event. Before applying for graduation, always check with your academic advisor that you are eligible for graduation at the end of the application period. You must successfully complete all courses in which you are enrolled at UT Dallas at the time of graduation.
Be sure to stop at the bus stop. Buses cannot stop anywhere except at the bus stop. Once the bus leaves the bus stop, it doesn’t stop again, so you need to get to their stop early and ready to board.

If the date you want to attend International Student Orientation is not listed in Orion, there is already full capacity for that date. Please choose another date to participate. Also, you can keep coming back because dates may be available, as other students may change their orientation.

International Student Orientation is a great opportunity to meet and interact with fellow students, staff and leaders. Students must successfully complete International Student Orientation, including online pre-arrival modules. Pre-arrival modules are a prerequisite to attending International Student Orientation.

Face Masks: UTD encourages members of the University community to wear face masks and follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for mask use. Executive Order GA-36 Texas Gov. Greg Abbott prohibits government entities from requiring or mandating the wearing of masks.
We recommend wearing a face mask for International Student Orientation. It is UT Dallas’ policy to provide reasonable accommodation to employees who wish to observe a religious holiday that occurs on a day when the university will be open.

Dallas. Registration is not required. Summer 2023 students are welcome to view the recorded spring 2023 virtual information sessions. Fall 2023 students are welcome to attend the scheduled virtual information sessions (see chart below). Please note that the Virtual Information Session does not replace International Student Orientation.

Suspending your student account prevents you from registering for classes. To view all your account holds, use your Net-ID and password to log in to Galaxy. You can click “Hold” in your “Orion Student Center” and see all the holds in your account.
If you click on each individual hold, you’ll get more information about which department placed the hold on your account and why. The department placing your withholding is the only department that can remove your withholding.
