To help you make informed decisions, complete the SmarterMeasure online readiness assessment. SmarterMeasure is a web-based assessment that measures students’ readiness for success in online and / or technology-rich online learning programs. SmarterMeasure shows the extent to which each student has the qualifications, skills and knowledge that contribute to academic success.
Each course requires at least one exam, but no more than two. You must identify a testing center near your home or workplace (this could be a UWG testing center or other location near you). Each semester, you must make an appointment for your high school and / or final exam at the exam center.

Exam information and registration instructions will be provided to you during your studies. eCore, the e-Core program of the University of Georgia, is a cooperation agreement among SACSCOC accredited institutions of the University System of Georgia (USG) to provide online general education courses.
ECore courses are taught by teachers from USG institutions and can be transferred within USG as well as most regional accredited schools. Core courses are usually required during the first two years of a college degree.
The UWG will begin the semester on Wednesday, August 12, and end regular instruction on Wednesday, November 25. The final exam will be administered remotely so students do not have to return to campus after the Thanksgiving holiday.
