Walt Disney World Calendar – Important Note: Weekends are busier than local weekdays. However, since many families choose to spend 5 or more days at Walt Disney World, we’ve included weekends among the “green” days in our lists above. However, in the last several years, we have seen the population at that time increase rapidly and what was now a slow time of the year becomes very busy.
How do we predict the crowds at Disney World? Our method tracks past attendance data at four Disney theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios to predict future crowds. We hope these facts help you consider dates that fit your Disney vacation goals.

So let’s start! The population is water from year to year. What was considered “average” in the past is not the same as what is considered “average” now; Compared to the rest of the year, it is “mediocre”.
What Are Crowds Like On Least Crowded Days?
On days with fewer people in the park, you may find that you can go directly online at least a few times for a quick load in the park. Most medium rides wait around 10-15 minutes, while more popular attractions such as roller coasters wait around 30 minutes. Food is usually easy to find, with short wait times for fast service and same-day reservations are available at some
table service areas. It wasn’t an exact science, but years and years of monthly visits and spreadsheets and huge databases of wait times helped us predict with at least reasonable accuracy how we thought things would turn out.
When looking at crowd rates, please remember that you cannot compare this year to last year, or any other year for that matter. What we see as the “heavy” crowd now may resemble the “heavy” crowd of old.
And the most important thing – when we predict that most people will be “heavy”, we mean that people will be heavy on those days compared to the whole year. It’s also sometimes somewhat crowded in the middle, especially Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs, but the main effects (such as crowded buses and crowded food courts) are guaranteed to be seen at 3 All-Star Hotels.
Crowds At Each Disney Theme Park
Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments, but please don’t ask us to compare calendars from other sites. We have explained the reasons behind our calendar and do not comment on how other sites do things.
*** Covid-19: Disney has taken enhanced health and safety measures during the outbreak. Reservations are now required to enter the theme park, and resorts, restaurants and other features are subject to change and capacity restrictions. Beginning in January 2023, guests can cover their faces on both indoor and outdoor Disney rides.
Face coverings are not permitted while guests are in the water or on the water slides. Our Disney World Crowd Calendar predicts the crowds at Walt Disney World for each day of the next 12 months.

Busy calendars predict how busy the theme park will be on a particular day of the year. Using data collected from recent years, Disney’s crowd calendars help us figure out which theme parks have the shortest lines and which parks have the longest lines.
While not all travelers have the ability to plan their trip around a busy few days, this can still be a useful tool. Knowing what to expect will allow you to plan accordingly and help you maximize your Disney experience.
Newbies are often surprised by the lack of dining options when they arrive at Disney World. You don’t have to wait to enter a Walt Disney World full-service restaurant and be seated right away. Usually not.

Walt Disney World crowds fluctuate throughout the year, so it’s important to choose your dates carefully. On the park’s busiest days, even express-load rides usually have a wait time of 15-45 minutes. 60+ minute wait times for the most popular rides are unheard of.
What Are Crowds Like On Most Crowded Days?
Fortunately, the implementation of theme park reservations (Park Pass) has eliminated many of the nightmares we see, such as 3-5 hour waits on Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve. Dining can be more challenging on busy days, with long waits (and frequent “floating” to find an empty table) at quick-service restaurants during lunch and dinner hours.
Same day reservations may not be available at table service restaurants. All cases listed above are only representative samples. Individual days have their own individual characteristics; You may wait shorter than expected on a “busy” day or longer than expected on a “less busy” day.
We’ve created our public calendar to show you how busy the Disney theme parks are each calendar year. We forecast Disney theme park availability for the next 12 months so you can cut months, weeks and days off your next vacation.
Our Disney People Calendar is updated monthly and currently features the classes of 2023 and 2024. Check back again and again! The best time to go to Disney World depends on many factors, including the weather, when it fits your busy schedule, and of course, how crowded the theme parks are.
