2018 Meme Calendar – Johnny Johnny Yeah Daddy, a peevish nursery rhyme about eating sugar to the tune of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” is mind-blowing, preposterous and silly. The original Johnny Johnny song originates from a 2012 animated YouTube video starring traitorous Peter Griffin and the occasional crying boy.

Subsequent iterations of JJYP improved the song, visuals, and characters, leading to an entire genre of YouTube videos (one of which became one of the most viewed viral videos of the year) and an entire subreddit for sharing.

Johnny Johnny’s suffocating viscera can’t really be described Yes Papa; you have to experience it yourself. Let me explain this… a political party that questioned the accuracy of the FBI director’s time records suddenly wants us to believe the calendars that a 17-year-old wrote 30 years ago because Cavanaugh’s mother said so.

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has revealed to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he was not at the party Dr. Christine Blasey Ford claims he sexually assaulted, but people online aren’t buying them. FEMA issued a nationwide “Presidential Alert” on Oct. 3 at 2:18 p.m. to test the new emergency alert system.

The text itself was annoying but harmless, and we humans got a few good jokes out of it. The most successful people I have met: 1. Read regularly 2. Exercise daily 3. Born curious 4. Use laser focus 5.

Believe in yourself 6. Build great teams 7. Admit that they know very little8. Always work to improve. 9. Demand excellence in everything they do. For a while, Gritty was the newfound, gray-eyed mascot of the Philadelphia Flyers.

About five seconds after the absurd announcement video was posted on Twitter, Gritty flew across the hockey rink. She’s become an unhinged nightmare and, more importantly, a non-binary genderqueer icon of the fall, dating Philly Phanatic (not unlike the coming out of The Babadook and Pennywise).

Yes, Gritty is the meme itself, but that just means Gritty has a brilliant and self-aware online presence. Due to their subject matter, Black Mirror episodes always seem ripe for remembering. Although Season 4 2017 ended with good releases from Metalhead and Black Museum, Michaela Coel’s screenshot of USS Callister was the real MVP.

But wait a minute. Advertising? Or an invitation? Many, thinking it was the last, took whatever they could – a mop, a boot, a puppy – and tried their best to wear it down. Legal Notice: Know Your Meme ® is a trademark of Literally Media Ltd.

The Super Bowl has produced some great internet moments, but the kid who quickly reached for his phone near the end of Justin Timberlake’s halftime performance and tried to snap a “Super Bowl Selfie” stood out!

Tik Tok, F.K.A. Musical.ly is a great app where people create looping videos that sync up to short songs or user-uploaded footage.

It’s Vine that has stripped away most of the originality and magic that went into making this defunct app. Based on the 2012 song “Good Girls, Bad Hair” by former theater kids group Falling In Reverse, this “challenge” made Tik Tok look bad at the end of the summer.

Do Y’all Hear Sumn takes his trademark no-holds-barred approach and applies it to situations we just can’t handle, so it works for any horror comic book character.

This is a 2012 fan art from the 1987 film Predator, featuring two strong men in a very masculine handshake, posted on deviantART in 2012. Dutchman (Arnold Schwarzenegger) turns to find his old friend Dillon (Carl Weathers) waiting, yelling, “Dillon! You bastard.”

Buffet people approach and engage in a friendly handshake. The shot pans to locked arms to show how broken Arnold and Weather are. The image became a bona fide meme in May when Elon Musk and Grimes met inexplicably, but it didn’t go viral until months later.

Such is the way of the meme. Use handshakes to show the common interests of two seemingly opposite groups. Subgenres of the handshake meme include motion handshakes, close-up handshakes, mass wrist-grabbing orgy, fist-in, and handshakes. Kanye West released his new album Ye on June 1st.

The music is great, but even more important are all the memes the cover inspired, which reads, “I hate being bi-polar / its cool.” It brings to mind the “If you’re reading this, it’s too late” meme from 2015.

In the first season episode “Nature Pants”, SpongeBob abandoned the bottom to live as a free jellyfish with a jellyfish. This surprises Patrick – fun fact: the only wild Patrick is the one who leads SpongeBob on a cat-and-mouse chase that knocks him down and leaves him breathless.

Now, from this point on, his tiredness c

Aside from the legitimate outcry over the blog platform’s decision to censor content that drives a fifth of its monthly traffic, the backlash has largely centered on the confusing phrase “female display nipples,” because what does that even mean?

How many famous paintings have your face in them? No big deal, but Google tried to solve the month-long question with the selfie feature in the Arts & Culture app, which used facial recognition technology to match your mug to a similar portrait in several museums.

People tried to enjoy the topic — “Google is defining how people view art: selfies,” sang Bloomberg, and “Google’s art selfies are fun, but raise privacy concerns,” said Adweek (it’s hard to fully enjoy things.) these days) — before getting creative. Apollo, the god of art, added, “Stop.” A very old SNL sketch that’s been remixed a lot this year. It wasn’t long before a song about appreciating your ex took the form of a popular meme from the lyrics: One Taught Me Love, One Taught Me Patience, One Taught Me Pain. An American conservative podcaster sat in public at Texas Christian University and held up a sign that read, “Male privilege is a myth, change my mind.”

The sign was so easy to photoshop that it instantly became a meme. Tumblr user Carly asks if Rae Jepsen is accepted. A social media campaign that started on Tumblr with u/swordlesbianopinions called for a sword for the pop icon, moved to Twitter and spawned various accounts and tons of fan art.

At Lollapallooza in early August, the prediction came true: A fan gave Carly Rae Jepsen an inflatable sword during her set for “Cut to the Feeling.” We rarely see a meme like this! Although February flew by, it was a month between big events.

Super Bowl. Grammy. The second coming of Green M&M’s. If you’re not looking for Kendrick Lamar’s album of the year, it’s all delivered in one way or another.
