It is located in the heart of Banda Aceh, giving you easy access to all the local tourist spots. The owner is especially knowledgeable about local information that will help you during your stay. I found the owner and all the staff friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend Lala Hostel. But the best of these stories have no place in her dining room or on the kitchen counter. My favorite stories are the ones about driving by a custard stand in the town of Tonawanda, a place called Anderson’s.

I recommend for those who are interested to travel to Banda Aceh, please don’t forget to go to Weh Island, such a beautiful beach and we have fun in this island, we managed to do our snorkeling and take beautiful photos.
Anderson’s roast beef is sliced thinner than Schwabl’s, another purveyor of great beef. Cooking is usually rare. If you like your roast beef well done, like me, you can ask for and receive a sandwich that’s still flavorful and juicy.
For a stronger flavor, order a sandich on a salted kimmelweck roll with horseradish. Remember that too much horseradish can cause tears, but don’t shed it in vain. If the salt content is too high, you can order a sandwich on a hard roll.
You can also find hot dogs on the menu, but the quality is pretty average and not up to specialty hot dog places like Ted’s. You won’t find the variety of ingredients available at those other restaurants.

Very nice place.. Stayed 1 night at Pulau Weh and snorkelling.. Will definitely come back later. I hired Banda Aceh Tour for our transportation and I was lucky. The two drivers Shah (Banda aceh) and Bob (pulau weh) are very friendly, practical and informative.
