The proposed list of 30 projects includes several high-level schools. These schools — Garinger, South Mecklenburg, North Mecklenburg and East Mecklenburg — will continue to operate or be replacement schools, where new facilities are being built on current sites.
There are several elementary schools on the list for alternative schools: Beverly Woods, Huntersville, Matthews, Steele Creek and Cornelius and Albemarle Road Middle School. Off-site substitutes are available at Allenbrook Elementary, Villa Heights Elementary and Berryhill School.
