Uofm Academic Calendar – POT stands for Part of Term. The semester consists of several semester parts. For example, winter 2022 consists of one 15-week semester and two 7-week semesters. Each POT has its own deadline. Use the drop down arrows to view the deadlines associated with each POT.

Certain elective courses beginning after this date may have enrollment restrictions that require permission of the instructor. Enrollment restriction appears: Add Instr approved required. Although these courses are open, instructor permission is required. Many of the holidays listed below are linked to information pages created by the U-M School of Information Project Team with contributions and reviews from religious leaders and community organizations.

Religious Holidays During The – Academic Year

The spring/summer season is further divided into two halves: spring (May and June) and summer (July and August). *** The Bahá’í day ends and a new day begins at sunset; Thus, the day on which the holy day is celebrated begins at sunset on the previous day of the Gregorian calendar dates. Many religions have many sects, and even within one sect – many customs can be found around the holiday.
