What About Those Lockers?
Buying tickets (most third parties will show reservation availability. These days but we like to double check). You can check park availability using this link (if that doesn’t work, just start at Disney’s Park Pass Reservation home page).
If you are in the app, you can click on the plus sign and then select “Make a Park Reservation”. However, there is currently no way to make a reservation in the app, so clicking this button will open the Disney website to start the park reservation workflow.
Bonus reservations mean that selected parks can be reserved in addition to your current park reservation! Look for “Bonus Reservations” and Gold Star for eligible parks. Below, you can see what EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios have available on March 2nd.
This tip isn’t quite as advanced, but it’s a good reminder for procrastinators. Make your park reservations as soon as you book your tickets, hotel reservations or your Disney package! With increasing demand, there is no reason to wait.
Making A Reservation
Changing your reservations is as easy as editing now. You will be more than happy to realize that you made reservations earlier that you cannot get the desired reservation later. The attraction was closed for a few years during the construction of the Tron ride.
Also included is a new tunnel for the old school train circuit around the Magic Kingdom. The railroad reopened in December and visitors can ride at stations above Main Street, in Frontierland and at Storybook Circus, which is part of Fantasyland.
I was able to fix my “one day only” bug. Our problem was that we had two reservations. Since each member of our party had two tickets attached, this limited us to only one election day.
I was able to cancel the other reservation (we weren’t going to use it) and everything opened up. I was then able to get park pass reservations for each park each day that we wanted. It’s also during Thanksgiving week.

Book Park Pass Reservations As Soon As You Can
These passholder previews were filled shortly after Disney’s online offer. When the attraction opens to the public, park-specific/date-specific reservations will still be required at the Disney World parks. However, it will loosen up a bit for season ticket holders starting on April 18.

I was only able to make 3 day bookings with my APs, despite having 2 separate seat reservations (for 1 night in October and 6 nights in January) linked to my DME account. This is ridiculous!

This system is in addition to, not instead of, purchasing a park ticket. Even if you already have a ticket or annual pass that covers one day, you still need a reservation to enter the parks.
Extended Evening Hours is a benefit offered to guests at Disney’s luxury hotels that gives them access to select parks on select nights for a few hours after park closing. A park reservation is required to use Extended Evening Hours — either you need a park reservation for a benefit park or you must follow park hopping and benefit park hopping rules.
After some frustrating waiting, I was able to make the park reservations I needed for the November trip. However, I was blocked from making a park reservation for another trip we booked at DVC Resort for May 2021. We have annual passes that are purchased and linked, but not activated.
Should we be prevented from booking another stay? It can be a challenge to just walk into a full-service restaurant and expect to be seated, even in the off-season. So if fine dining and character dining are high on your Disney vacation wish list, plan to make your ADRs as soon as you can.
