What The Numbers Mean

If you want to enjoy Easter activities, you can find activities at the end of April. As for the crowds – each date selection will have a similar crowd level, which may be higher on certain days during spring break.
If the school schedule is anything to go by, chances are you’ll go during a busier (or at least not one of the busiest) times of the year than many. The most important thing is to plan for other families.
Also tours. It may seem like a good time to visit during your children’s school ‘holidays’, but it is important to consider whether other schools do not have the same holidays. Interesting, I just checked 3 SoCal counties and they actually have different spring breaks this year.

Q When Is Disneyland Least Crowded?
San Diego and Orange County seem to be the last week of March, while LA is the second week of April that we’ll be there. I think this is good news for us, but we’ll see!
We just made our reservations. Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Overall, we expect a “feel” crowd at Disneyland through at least the first quarter of 2023. This will be especially true on weekends, holidays, and school breaks for local districts and surrounding states.
1. Avengers open area. Every time a new land or even a new headliner opens, it changes the pattern of wait times at other attractions in the park and our accuracy suffers for a while. We need time to gather enough data and make the necessary adjustments.
Honestly, most of October and November will be busy because the holidays are such a popular time of year! If you arrive early each day, make food reservations, and have a solid schedule, you should do well.

I need to dig up all your west coast stuff. I’m looking forward to my kids thinking I’m Florida’s “best in Disney stuff” without them knowing it’s really just reading a blog. The new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ride, The Rise of the Resistance, opens on January 17th, so I’d pick the 27-31st to give the parks a few more days to cool off with the excitement of the new ride.
Although it can still be busy in both directions as this ride is highly anticipated! Each month, the final forecast is updated approximately 30 to 60 days before the start of the month. Earlier forecasts are less accurate and do not include current trends, park reservations and recent wait time data.

Suffice it to say, there are a lot of wild cards that make Disneyland’s 2023 crowd calendars less reliable than regular years. All this is predicted by a number of people on specific dates well in advance.
What is possible is to estimate the range of specific dates relative to each other. As for what’s going on right now, the 100 Years of Wonders celebration has just begun with a world of color – another amazing night journey.
Q Is The Disneyland Crowd Forecast Accurate?

In fact, the crowds at Disneyland have been a real rollercoaster since reopening, and it doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon. Although demand for pint-ups is beginning to subside, there are two new variables driving the crowd.
We might as well start with the February 2023 update, as long wait times, park congestion, and long lines — including Lightning Lane return lines — will continue through spring break and beyond. If possible, we recommend avoiding all dates between March 8, 2023 and April 16, 2023. This entire stretch is spring break season, and dates from early March or mid-April to late May 2023 will be busier.

, if you have no other options, the differences between the above date ranges should be better options. There are certainly other wild cards that make it difficult for Disneyland’s crowd calendar to accurately predict attendance or wait times on specific dates.
However, the above variables are relatively well known in advance and make it much easier to predict general weather trends. So, that’s what we’re offering here: some great special events throughout the year that make the parks extra magical!
The two major holiday seasons, Halloween and Christmas, bring special entertainment, decorations and food to both parks. During the year you can also find smaller thematic events. In addition to the holidays, the summer months are also a popular time for guests, as Disneyland usually introduces new additions to the park during these days.
On August 25, Disneyland began selling annual passes again with a new set of prices and blackout dates. As the number of cases from the Delta begins to decrease and more locals access the parks again with their newly purchased access points, we see demand pick up through the end of September and into October.

Final Scores
For the first time since early June, we see a strong pattern of low predictability, mostly at Disneyland and less at California Adventure; Some of this is probably also due to vacationers postponing trips during August.
Most schools have the week before Christmas until just after the New Year break, which is extremely busy apart from this week. The same goes for President’s Weekend, Easter Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, the 4th of July and Thanksgiving Weekend.
Although schools change their spring break schedules, don’t expect the parks to be any less busy because of a little surprise spring break. March and April are also busy at Disneyland. Second, the availability – or lack thereof – of bookings has another significant impact.
This is incredibly important to Disneyland’s crowd calendars because there is absolutely no difference in crowds if reservations are lost. If every day is fully occupied, there is not much difference in the level of overcrowding.
May June
In this scenario, overbooking levels are not determined by organic demand, but by reservation availability. Not taking parking hours into account when planning a trip is a huge mistake. In general, parking hours are shorter on less busy days and parking hours are longer on busy days.
So many people find that they can basically make the same amount of money in a short day during a less busy time of year as during the high season. This is not true with good plans for visiting parks or strategic use of Genie+ and Lightning Lane.
With the right strategy, you can get more done on a busy day with long hours than on a shorter day with fewer people. The Haunted Mansion and It’s a Small World have holiday overlays that transform both attractions.
The Haunted Mansion becomes the Haunted Mansion Holiday, with the theme “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. It becomes a small world “It’s a Small World Holiday” decorated with thousands of beautiful lights and the song inside changes to jingle bells.
