Livermore Temple Calendar 2022 – The Shiva Vishnu Temple in Livermore, California is a Hindu temple operated by the Hindu Society and Cultural Center. About Temple Deity
Veda Sivagama Vidya Bhushanam was conferred by Sri Lokambika Veda Sivagama Vidyalaya and Veda Sivagama Vichakshana by Indian Institute of Indology. He is fluent in Tamil and English. Sri Narayanachar is a Vaishnava Pancharatra Agama priest in SSVT.
He hails from Digalakote, Karnataka. He is a disciple of Shri Savyasachi Swamigal, Vaishnava Acharya of SSVT. He was trained in the Pancharatra Agama and trained in the Satras including Purva Pryogas, Srardha Pryogas and Aparaprayogas.
He joined SSVT in May 1992. He conducts all agamic activities in SSVT and always involves devotees while performing archanas or kalyanotsavams. He was awarded the Vaishnava Dharma Boshana, Pancharratragama Vitonmani. He was the first imam to represent SSVT at the White House Deepavali celebration inaugurated by President Obama.

He studied the Shivagama Tantram Pravera Pravina at the Kunjibettu Sharada Temple in Udupi, a branch of the Sri Shankaracharya Samsthana. Studied Shastras and Vedas from 2006 for 9 years at Pejawara Mutt, Udupi and learned Sanskrit literature with Jothisya Shasthra at S. Vedanga.
S. P. Center for Sanskrit Research He holds a Master’s degree in Sanskrit from the Karnataka Sanskrit University and was conferred the title of ‘Vidvan’. He has been doing Yagas and Pujas as a priest at Pejwar Matha.
He has participated in Kumbhabhisheka and other rituals in various temples in India as well as abroad eg Myanmar, Dubai and Malaysia. He is fluent in English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Tulu. He understands Telugu, Malayalam, Konkani and Marathi.
He has been working at SSVT since December 2014 Sri Venkatachariyulu Komanduri is a Vaishnava Pancharatra Agama priest at SSVT. He hails from Keswaram in Andhra Pradesh. He completed his Agama Vedic studies from Sri Pancharatra Agama kSalashaala, Jeeyar Educational Trust, Jaggayyapet, Andhra Pradesh under Guru Srinivasacharya Samudrala.

He completed six years of traditional integrated course of Vedas, Agamas and Shastras at Vedic Agama Samskruta Maha Patasala (Sri Sri Ravishankar International Center for the Art of Living) in Bengaluru, Karnataka and received the title of ‘Sivagama Vidyandi’.

He served God for over 17 years at Mangala Vinayagar Temple, Tambaram before serving at Murugan Temple (MTNA) Lanham in 2008-2009. After a brief hiatus in India, he joined SSVT in March 2010 as Sayavagama Pastor.
