The PiYo calendar consists of 60 days of high-intensity, low-impact yoga and pilates routines that help strengthen muscles without bulging them. You will love the results! You also need to know what your overall goal is for your hybrid.

This will help you determine the balance of lifting to cardio and in which programs you want to draw workouts. For most of my hybrids, my goal was to lift heavy, maximize cardio, and still hit abs hard.

Insanity – You obviously get GREAT cardio options from Insanity. Go all out with MAX workouts or even start the initial stages with Pure Cardio and Plyo Cardio Circuit and work up to the MAX workouts.
Create A Space Just For Yourself
Before I met Kim & Kalee about 6 years ago, I had hit a plateau and was very frustrated. I did all the “right” things and still haven’t seen any results. The girls introduced me to a whole new world of exercises!
With her guidance and encouragement, I found the exercise I wanted to do and never looked back! Through this process I have also made 2 great friends. Their love and knowledge is greatly appreciated. Take note of the recipes included in your nutrition guide and choose some that you would like to try.
Choose a few for each meal and snack. Shop for ingredients before you go to the grocery store so you always have them when you’re ready to cook. Hammer & Chisel – This again gives you some shorter training options, but be careful.
Since H&C targets a lot of legs and whole body, I want to make sure I have a good cardio or rest/recovery workout after a hard H&C. I wouldn’t want to roll into another hard lifting program if I just came off a workout like Hammer Power.

The Asylum Volume 1 – Vertical Plyo is possibly one of the hardest Beachbody exercises ever. Great for getting the most out of your cardio days. As previously mentioned, Refuge Strength is a good choice for a full body lift.

Another great option for cardio would be Speed & Agility. If you want to build your cardio, use game day. The relief is good for a fast track. As I mentioned above, you need to know your programs well to do an effective Beachbody Hybrid.
As I said above, I recommend completing a program as designed before using it in hybrid. Where I made an exception to this rule is a program like Insanity. I’ve never completed a full Insanity round because I don’t think it’s the best fit for my goals (too much cardio and not proper weight training).

If you don’t know all the individual exercises you plan to use in your hybrid, you won’t know which muscle groups those exercises will hit and if the order in which you put them is realistic and feasible.
