The Report of Professional Activities and Self-Evaluation (PARSE) documents the achievements of teachers each academic year in three main areas: teaching, academic and professional development, and service. PARSE forms the basis of the annual assessment. It also provides a tool for submitting faculty to departmental and college review committees for reappointment, tenure, and promotion.

Creating effective writing assignments helps students retain course content and think critically.
In this workshop, teachers will have the opportunity to discuss and strengthen the writing task. Purpose: To provide undergraduate students at New York City College with the opportunity to present their research interests/projects/assignments in a professional forum.
Requirements: Undergraduate students will work individually or in pairs to develop a 10-15 minute oral presentation based on a task / project for the Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 semester. Designed to help new scholars guide their research, this workshop guides faculty in designing self-assessment strategies through self-reflection, guided peer review, and group discussion. Participants are expected to complete the self-paced part 1 workshop and prepare their project before working with the WAC team on April 4.
