The algorithm is simple, it does not consider elliptical orbits etc. Quarter moon phases can be followed as events in the event sheet by referring to the ‘phase chart’ in the special sheet. This interactive calendar is a Golrian campaign setting in the Pathfinder Role Playing Game System (PFRPG), as described in the Inner Sea World Guide.

60 seconds make a minute, 60 minutes make an hour, and 24 hours make a day. The Golarians measure time as we do, with seven days to a week and twelve months in a year. The years mark the founding of the last great empire, Erodon, the last of the First Men.

Although the kingdom collapsed, its calendar is still used today. The date is 4707 AR (Absalom’s Count), at the start of the Rise of the Runelords campaign.[1] This is 1 Obadiah, 1 AR. It begins with the day of Absalom’s foundation.

In Absalom’s reckoning, there are 24 hours in each day of Galilee, 7 days in each week, and 52 weeks in a year. The year is also divided into twelve months, although once every eight years another day is added to the end of the calendar to account for the slight difference in the earth’s rotation around the sun.

The next leap year will be 4712 AR. The Golrian moon coincides with ours, each new year beginning shortly after the sun. Each month’s name is associated with a specific deity: Abdar, Calistria. and Pharasma, and Gozire, and Desna, and Sareni, and Elastiri, and Arodhen, and Rovagug, and Ramashitu, and Netisi, and Zon-Kutani.

Golrians see the gods as reflected in the changing of the seasons, and their names for the months reflect this. (For example, the month of Gozereh is a time of existence and new life, while Zon-kuthan is considered the death of the old year.) Holidays in a given month are often associated with their patron deity.

In order, the months are:[1] The Inland Sea region has four seasons: winter, spring, spring and summer (or autumn). The moons of Cuthona, Abadius and Callistril are considered to fall during winter. Spring comes during Frost, Gozran, and Densans, while summer occurs during Sarinth, Erasto, and Erodes.

Finally, Rowa, Lamashan and Neth are seen as declining. Countless holidays and festivals are celebrated throughout Golarion. They commemorate a famous event in a place’s history, honor a god or goddess, celebrate the changing of the seasons, or are so old that everyone has forgotten where they came from.

Below is a short list of popular festivals organized by the month of the year in which they occur. Some occur on a specific calendar day each year, while others are more flexible. If the holiday is celebrated only in one part of the world, or is dedicated to another god, it is also written in parentheses.

If there is no geographical indication, it means that it is highly visible.[1] Absalom Reckoning, or AR for short, is the most widely used in Avistan and Grund and possibly all of Golarion. There is a calendar.

In Absalom’s number, the day of the month is always written first, followed by the month and year and is usually prefixed with the letters “AR”.
