Regular full-time and part-time employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week may take up to three (3) days off, including the day of the funeral, without loss of pay, for a death in the immediate family.
When leave is required during scheduled work hours, bereavement leave must be requested. Immediate family for purposes of this policy includes spouse, domestic partner, child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepchild, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother, sister, step-brother or sister.
