You will receive additional information about the equipment needed for your physical examination process. NSU-KPCOM provides the opportunity to purchase necessary items through approved suppliers. An agenda with time and location will be emailed to you prior to orientation. Note that orientation and the first week of classes are mixed. Once orientation begins, there is no break before class. The Fort Lauderdale campus White Coat event is TBD.

Tampa Bay Regional Campus’ White Coat event is TBD. Event details will be emailed directly to you once the location is confirmed. At least 500 MB of free space is required to start the exam. Be sure to bring it with you to the beginning of the orientation/class on 07/24/2023.

It cannot replace the iPad as a tablet and the iPad must not be broken. NSU does not have a discount that students can use to purchase an iPad. iPads are not included in tuition. Students must have an Apple iPad® with at least 2 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space.

Yes. As part of the curriculum, students develop medical research skills, hone and refine information management skills, and are exposed to health informatics and advanced learning technologies that are immersive. Students have access to a variety of computer training resources and course materials.

All of the apps listed below can be ordered for free using the App Store icon on the iPad home page and do not require any purchase. The one-stop consultation and registration service will be located on the first floor of the Student Center from Friday, January 13, 2023 to Friday, January 20, 2023.

All Nova Southeastern University Health and Occupational Health Departments (HPD) and all students on campus (including graduate students) must have adequate health insurance.

All admitted students, either through their retailer or through the university, must purchase health insurance before classes begin. The Nova Southeastern student health insurance plan goes into effect on August 1, 2023. As the week progresses, you will receive more information about when you can wear Ceil Blue peels.

Healthcare professionals and students can sustain needlestick injuries (piercing injuries caused by medical devices that come into contact with potentially contaminated body fluids) during training classes. Nova Southeastern student health insurance plans provide coverage for such accidents, other commercial plans may not.

Nova Southeastern University cannot cover needlestick injuries if private health insurance does not cover them, so consider this when making your insurance decision.
